When I flashed Stock LC2 ROM, the baseband version is still LC1.

Have you tried different provider SIM card?

I'm using Celcom but apparently my house is a 'black hole' area for it, so I also get over -99 db within my house, but it's okay once outside... anyways, I tried with a Maxis SIM card and suddenly I get super great reception within the house ;;;

I suggest you try with either Maxis or Celcom SIM and see if its also that bad reception. If so, it really could be due to provider.

I use the app and apparently the ROM developer for Litening was illegally putting it in to his ROM without permission. That's why I wanted to know if it's true or not lol.

No problems with Nokia-provided micro-USB cable (the 30cm short-like-Napolean one). In fact, I use that cable to charge at home while I bring the charger wherever I go in case need to charge suddenly.

Well, i've never actually needed to emergency charge just yet. It's more of a backup. Note battery life is pretty damn decent as long as you get home every night.

Wouldn't Powerbank be easier?

To be serious, I guess you can just get the official accessories from either Nokia or Samsung. Only the cable should be pretty cheap.

What did you mean by can't be use? The card can't even be detected?

Glas.t user here. Not sure how the xGlas compares to it, but I can safely say the Glas.t is a great protector that makes my phone feel like beast it is. But get a professional to apply it for you, it's really a big investment.

I would suggest trying out the xGlas first to see how it fares though. GLAS.T is a serious investment (RM140) compared to the cheaper xGlas.

So how's everyone's ICS experience? I'm downloading the stock ROM now and plan to flash tonight. Almost want to skip work just to flash this .

Went crazy and upgraded my Note to ICS from Gingerbread DarkyROM 3.4 RE in the office. All apps and data kept properly by using dr.ketan's guide. Most importantly root was kept properly. I'm glad I spent on Mobile Odin Pro

A little laggy at first, but after optimizing by forcing hardware acceleration and setting animations, plus disabling some useless Samsung apps (f*** yeah no need use other app to freeze any more!), I can say the official ICS is extremely smooth and stable after 3 hours of checking all the apps and making sure every thing works.

Battery usage also surprisingly decent. Flash is 3 hours old and started with 65% battery, after nearly 2 hours of screen on it's currently at 42%.

One drawback is for some reason 3G connection doesn't feel as stable as before, but I will need a longer time to make sure it's not due to bad coverage or overload.

Anyways, ICS FINALLY! WOO HOO!

Yeah, I couldn't test it properly yet. My house signal is -110 db on average with Celcom so I can't test at home. Will be going for GoMobile tmrw anyways so ill see if it's really not that stable or something else.

On a sidenote, got Chrome for Android. It's the best browser I've used so far holy crap.

I have fat fingers so browsing Low Yat forums is a b**** because you know the layoutlah...

Chrome, when I hit an area with multiple links (page numbers for ex.), it actually MAGNIFIES the location i touched and lets me confirm which link I wanted to go to! That's just awesome.

Won't affect, just place both files in the same folder and choose the .tar file.

EDIT: for extra knowledge, I googled it. It's meant for Samsung Kies program. Can be safely ignored.

I like Boat's interface the most. Well, I should try Skyfire and Opera Mobile sometime too. I didn't like Dolphin a lot.

... they took that out apparently. It was one of the best features of TouchWiz. Not sure why Samsung took it out. Hopefully it was just a mistake and they'll repatch that in next ICS release.

A question for those on official ICS, is your charging a lot more slower now? I used to charge from 40% to 100% in about 3 hours off USB. Yesterday after plugging in at 8 and checking at 12:30, it only charged to like 96%... which is blardy slow.
