am all set for an Asus, now i am thinking dell..

well, actually buying a laptop or should i say any electronic compliance is all base on luck one... my friend's asus once bought, used for 4 yrs and no problem... my benQ which no one even bother with this brand also never given problem which is lucky cos u dont even want to start talking about benQ service.

for dell's good after sales service & warranty of course it is planted in the price of their laptop too. for those who wants to gamble, go for cheaper brands lor... but for those who can afford dell, why not, u get a peace of mind. but of cos i see Asus design are sleeker and nicer for their ultrabook. Dell..? soon-to-be-IBM

well, since i will use this soon-to-buy-laptop mostly overseas UK/US. i guess its better to get a Dell then. Asus UK website like N years no update lol

hi I want to ask about International Warranty...

if i buy a laptop say Asus, Dell or Toshiba in Malaysia now, next month I travel to UK, for 6 months plus so obviously when my laptop got problem I would have to repair there... cannot wait till i get home..

can i just visit any Asus, Dell or Toshiba service center there? are their warranty worldwide?

touch wood if 3 months no problem should be no problem

i suspect those electronic gadgets i bought has a time bomb inside and usually spoiled 2-3 days after warranty period end, so "punctual". i think i have to get a dell with extended 3 yrs on site warranty which cost a bomb
