I am so tempted to buy Asus as the price is reasonable and the design is good.
But is it really that bad? Or is it just that a number of guys who had a bad encounter with the service center?

Acer, Asus, HP, Lenovo laptops are priced around the same. But I've always been more attracted to Asus because of the design. Which brand has the best after sales service from those I listed?

Which would be the most reliable brand for laptops?

Among those 4, HP and Acer warranty service is quite good. Lenovo is a hit or miss and Asus is the worst.
Dell warranty is the best imo.. can't say about their laptop reliability though.
You must be an Asus user right?
How is the laptop in general?
Problematic?

I am gussing that their laptop is good but their after sales service is Malaysia is not good.
Every reliability list I see, Asus has a good rating.

DO NOT BUY ASUS! Asus laptop design is good, but their after sales are terrible, horrible, vegetable. If you read my earier comments for my RMA ecperience here, whole process took me 8 whole months including: personally follow up, monitor and make complaints. In the end Asus tried to cheat me by offering a RM600 cheaper model to replace with my S400CA.  cry.gif WTF really.  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif

I believe Dell has the best after sales service

My colleague's dell vostro something ultrabook broke down in less than a year's time, contacted Dell, and they SENT SOMEONE to our office to replace the parts on the spot, whole process take only an hour +. Hassle-free. Not sure about others though, any one but not Asus!!  hmm.gif

So basically their design is good. How about their reliability?
Like you said, their after sales is horrible but if the laptop doesn't have any issue, then we don't even need their after sales service right?

I saw many reliability and ratings website, Asus always gets good ratings.
This is just one of them;
