If its one month then I think it is better for user to spend just a little more money to get Dell instead.

u still need see asus got check exchange gpu for u....... because they import hardware from taiwan that need time to deliver the hardware
*
Why didn't they stock up parts, particularly for models in Malaysian market.

Do we really need to actually show them how to manage their own (contractor) service centre? What a shame. doh.gif

Are we the only group of people that think they need to have adequate stock for their Malaysia operation instead of order when needed for most of the parts?

Its virtually the same for most brands, just that there are more Asus users here  tongue.gif

Dell was by far the best warranty support but less attractive design for low priced model. So it is not the same I think. icon_rolleyes.gif

yes, dell do provide a better service after sale compare to 's***' service provided by asus but asus did prove that the laptop is quite solid build but it depend on luck also some ppl wil not face even single faulty but some might face just after they purchased the laptop... so all depend on luck><
just like everyone complain on acer but my gf use acer for almost 5 years never chg a laptop and do kicking well just the cover not well taken care but only scratches, the rest just re-paste heat sink then everything working fine... so for me i would said it depend on personal luck tongue.gif
*
Agree with you. Luck also play its role, my 1st up until 3rd notebook was Acer with no problem at all.
But when your luck runs out, I guess good warranty support can somehow 'restore' your luck. icon_rolleyes.gif

ithink any service center sux bigtime.... its the way that you can talk them to get what you want.
*
Except for Dell where they come to you have fix it. So fat my experience with Dell warranty is the best. thumbup.gif

I have Acer, HP and MSI notebook as well but never claim for warranty as I guess I am so lucky for having no issue so far.

As for Asus, I concur with others. doh.gif

All HDD in the world are manufactured by 3 brands: Seagate, Western Digital, Toshiba.
All the HDD in laptops has the same form factor (same shape (height, length, width)).

I don't know what procedure Asus Malaysia SC has to follow, but it definitely won't take me 2 weeks to change a HDD at home laugh.gif

Exactly bro. thumbup.gif

I guess some ASUS staff got butt hurt when people down here complaining about their poor service. brows.gif
