Handling a stabilizer is indeed tiring eh. Need to catch up with subject's walking speed. Need to ask to slow down, which for me; beats the spontaneity already. But I dont regret getting the Hague MMC. Just need more practice.

5 hours? What type of recording? Wedding issit?

I normally stop recording every 10-15mins. But then again, I'm just doing sightseeing type of videos. Casual and free.

Video shoot at cosplay events, Controlling "effects" slowly take lots of muscle strength (even mine setup is light weighted).
Wedding (did 1 time only) / Dinner functions I don't use steadycam often using more on monopod.
Teambuilding can be a lot harder actually since I usually shoot 2 days straight full day.

20 sec max recording time (depends on situations)

Understood what you meant by controlling effects. Its surely is tiring. Need to bend and lift alot.

What's the diff between DSLR or an HD camcorder?

HD Camcorder is those like Sony NEX VG-20?

So basically videography is about shooting / planing content then post process to make it interesting?

From my understanding, HD camcorder like NEX VG record more detail (aka more mb/s) than HDSLR. More detail allows natural look (a little sharper) and easy to color corrected. Heres a video to show how more MB/s can actually improve your video quality. This is only my opinion and understanding I hope no one flame me smile.gif

As for planning, yes, you have to plan ahead smile.gif
