QUOTE(Vort3X @ May 18 2012, 01:10 AM) So did they solve the problem? Yes, problem solved. My brakes also making the same sound. But mine is disc brake. Until now I'm not even sure its considered a problem or not(the sound). Opinions anyone? No idea how air went into the system. I'm not sure whether they replaced the fluid or reuse. |

I have unusual fuel trims as reported by ECU, it's giving me headache.
Petrol operation: STFT Bank 1: -50% LTFT Bank 1: 0% Observation: STFT will return to 0% when throttle is lifted. STFT returns to normal values of 0% to 2% at specific RPM ~1.5k. STFT is -50% at 99% of the time. Injector/vacuum leak? Gas operation: STFT Bank 1: 7% to 30% LTFT Bank 1: 0.8% Observation: Maybe caused by improper tuning (?) Am I having a vacuum or injector leak? My concern is the petrol mode STFT. This post has been edited by mengsuan: May 21 2012, 10:14 AM |

QUOTE(xandras @ May 21 2012, 11:15 AM) Might be a vacuum leak or improper o2sensor plugging. Did the NGV dudes mess with your AFR? -50% is very very high. They didn't mess with any sensor or original ECU. AFR is still unaffected at 14.71:1. But fuel trim is gone.I don't remember well whether was it like this already before the NGV conversion, I have a feeling the STFT is behaving like that all the while. Do you know what's the correct procedure to troubleshoot? I heard some said smoke test for vacuum leak. |

QUOTE(xandras @ May 21 2012, 11:48 AM) If you said that the STFT behaves like that all the time even before conversion, have you then felt any irregularities in the power delivery all this while? Like sudden power loss, reduced throttle response, no power at all at certain rpms? Actually no. Even now with -50% STFT, the throttle response is fine. |

I'm thinking to use this lube next round. But no API Standard specification? What I can see is very low sulphated ash content. http://www.mymesra.com.my/?ch=mm_2011&pg=p...pl=2011_article

xandras, have you observed your fuel trim on the move?
I need to find the datasheet of the ECU. To me, it seems that -50.0% would mean fuel trim unobserved/inactive. Every time I try to upset the fuel trim by accelerating, it returns to 0% and few seconds later, it became -50.0%. |
