Conversion cost depends on what you want. There's choices for fiber tank, larger capacity tank, better ECU, better injectors, and even up to simple choices of technology (mixer vs sequential).

I expect my car to be used for many years to come, I tried to get the best out of my budget.

woot, i heard there is technology put water and the thing can split hydrogen and oxygen from H2O, use hydrogen for fuel and exhaust come out oxygen, i want buy

CNG is readily available. Unless there is no CNG supply to your place, why make your own hydrogen?

For petrol, I use Shell. Now I've got to use Petronas, which is just walking distance from my house. Went there to fill up yesterday, no car at all, the worker is so bored and I decided to chat with him.

can u buy gas tank and fill in to NGV tank urself?
*
A few years ago on the news, some malay guys did it on their van. When they are refilling the gas, the kitchen gas tank could not withstand the pressure and exploded. One died on the spot.
Cooking gas tank is LPG, the conversion that NGV do uses CNG.

You want to try? tongue.gif

For manual users, would it be easier to stall your engine using LCP?

yes...

Today I already stalled my engine twice. Scared to install LCP until the NGV ECU gets tuned until it doesn't stall in all condition.

u got manual meh?

ps: rev kaw..kaw lah...since the clutch also quite high..
*
According to NGV installer, manual cars don't stall because can balance the clutch. Auto persona needs intensive tuning.
Mine is auto, it stalls. I tak boleh tahan already, I'll go retune either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Hi, I didn't know there's someone having NGV Persona before me! I thought I'm the first in Lowyat.Net. biggrin.gif

Where do you stay, lets have a test drive.

I just installed last Saturday. Driving is now damn cheap.

My car is stock, just with sequential CEG Tatarini NGV.

I'm staying at Puchong. My office is at 1 First Avenue (beside 1U). Perhaps we can see the difference between stock NGV and modified (yours). biggrin.gif

Do you use valve lube or any enhancement?

Anyone knows what rim is this? Looks nice and lightweight. My first direction to modifying the car is to lighten the whole car. biggrin.gif

The savings will definitely not equal to or much less than the extra weight of the NGV tank.
*
Compensating the weight increase by lightening other parts of the car. The fiber tank that I am using is 58kg.

NGV really make driving cheap? but the station are rare. and really scary lor looks of NGV tanks  sweat.gif  sweat.gif like a bomb!
*
50-70% cheaper. Stations are in abundance in Klang Valley. One ngv station is walking distance from home. There is 2 more within 5km radius from my home. To pump petrol, I have to queue here at Puchong. Ngv no queue.

how bout revving with NGV? my idea is like that
since NGV gives less power, so i will rev it so hard everytime so that the power same with using petrol, and since rev more = consume more fuel/gas
so will NGV still gives better mileage?
*
No matter how the hell you rev, you still feel it is cheap

My comment still stands. If u are driving in KL with traffic jam condition, splendid! However, outside of Klang Valley is more time consuming and lots of detour.
*
You sound like you don't live in klang valley.
Of course, if there is no good facility at your place, it isn't feasible. My main motivating factor is the availability. I'm going to puspakom by this week. 25% road tax discount for low emission vehicles.

Bingo, I really don't go outstation often. Always around puchong, damansara, kl.

Not tinted yet. I tahan long long just to fix any manufacturing defects and then install NGV. After Puspakom, all hell breaks lose, I will tint it dark.

The brakes are worrying. I'll go send to CoSE tomorrow morning. I didn't expect to go back to CoSE so soon after I've installed NGV. Lets see what they would say about any issue.

some faulty thing in the drum brakes. It is also a common issue in later batch FLX/FLX SE.
*
Yes, CoSE said parts have to be replaced. They don't even need to test the car. I've sent in early this morning before work.

Even with NGV installed, they wouldn't care about the non-related part failure. In contrary to some believes that NGV conversion will void all warranty.
