QUOTE(rayz1031 @ May 29 2012, 03:39 PM) Hi PE owners, I am getting my first car, initially planning to get Forte but just dont want to fork out so much for liability. If u were to drive it in heavy traffic areas, ur fc definitely will be higher.. somewhere in the range of 13-14L/100km.. Comparatively ur iswara is managing 12.4L/100km.. So it will be a bit higher, but not very much higher.. U will make up the savings when travelling long distance at constant speed or travelling around cruising slowly.I stuck between PE and Myvi, size and segment doesn't matter, just the performance to fuel ratio matter the most to me. I drove PE once in Langkawi, pumped in rm30 and it barely last for half day. I did not calculate or notice the mileage traveled so ill leave this point as invalid. I just wanted to know what is the average fuel consumption for PE while driving in 100% city environment. I work at PJ and traveled mostly to nearby areas which full of traffic light and heavy traffic. My current old Isawara average 250km/31ltr petrol. Is anyone drive PE in city traffic and can share the fuel consumption? QUOTE(dares @ May 29 2012, 06:01 PM) I smell Doom befalling somebody. No pun intended. |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ May 30 2012, 06:55 PM) There is always a first for proton..hahahaha.. Well i have read feedbacks on NGV causing more wear and tear to the engine in the long term due to the lack of lubricative properties compared to good old dinosaur by products. |

QUOTE(vccy @ May 30 2012, 08:37 PM) not ngv, is the heat that cause the gasket to spoil. After install ngv did you observe heat increase in your engine bay? I always go to a mamak where all the taxi driver will be there. Mostly the new taxy, Gaga 1.6 NGV. They always open up their car's bonnet to let it "breath" I guess.Because if the heat increase in the engine bay? |

QUOTE(vccy @ May 30 2012, 08:37 PM) not ngv, is the heat that cause the gasket to spoil. After install ngv did you observe heat increase in your engine bay? No. I feel it's the same. And even my ECU says coolant temperature is the same as petrol. Same goes with catalyst converter temperature. The temperature does not double up as some says.Cannot compare to those who use the car as taxi. Even if Malaysia is 10C also still need to open bonnet due to extended usage.
