Jones' problem is the lack of discipline to play CB, the only solution for that is experience, where he will find a balance between bombing forward and sitting tight....then he will be invaluable to the squad

Sneijder won't do the defensive works, so not really suit our current search criteria currently...plus others' already mentioned, his wages is too high

if Cleverley continues to improve and stay away from injuries, Young--Rooney--Welbeck--Cleverley will form the future England attacking core, with Walcott, Wilshere as complement.....

and Jones--Smalling partnership at the CB...

looks promising lol

flair players like Nani are bound to be inconsistent.. unless your name is Messi.. they often try to do something special.

Nani having a good tournament so far. so is Ronaldo. but having a label as no2 in the world, people and media expect more from Ronaldo.. missing 2 or 3 golden chances, they crucified him.

Ronaldo and Nani are focal points of Portugal attack. shame they dont have better a better CF than Postiga. Oliveira seem promising on German's game, but bit off in the 2nd and 3rd game. love to see he starting ahead of Postiga, but i doubt the manager change the preference in KO stages.

huh even Messi has his "moments" like Nani yesterday.....he was erratic only in shooting, his passing, crossing, back-tracking was superb throughout

well we need a sizable cushion before April as City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Stoke (away) awaits us....sweat.gif

while our Christmas fixtures this year is considered decent since we will be having 2 consecutive home matches:

22 Dec Swansea City A
26 Dec Newcastle United H
29 Dec West Bromwich Albion H
01 Jan Wigan Athletic A

meaning the squad gets to stay at Carrington for 9-10 days before making another trip, and the opponents aren't bad as well

that's part of the reason I don't like United players in England squad, usually not a favorite to be selected; only being called up at desperate times and treated like a savior before the tournament, and blasted to hell once the TEAM fails to perform/qualify....

Nani#7 will only create more unnecessary pressure on him through direct comparison with C. Ronaldo

well we hype the number 7 because traditionally it had been wore by those who became absolute legend at the club: Best, Cantona, Robson, Beckham, C. Ronaldo (well even Owen was a legendary status striker although it didn't went well when he's at United)

or save some money, stick & groom fabio..

fabio confirmed going out on loan, so we need a capable backup for Evra one way or another this season, either Clyne, or we overpay for Baines
