c'mon. Arsenal has a good enough team this season for them to build on. With the acquisition of Podolski they have done exactly that. For them to be in 3rd place despite having spend so little shows that Arsene's style of coaching works. Its just that the league is a bit tougher this season. His biggest challenge, as usual, isnt to buy the best players....rather its for him to keep his top guns. Every season he lost his bestest players (which he bought for cheap, showing his philosophy really does work). Lets hope he can keep his first 11 for next season. And yeah...he also need to do something about the defence.

That's the point. I'm happy of Podolski but Arsenal have to really start being a team that wins trophies, which then the team have to dig deep and ask themselves: do they want trophies? Seems like each time the people start to rain praises on the gunners, their performance becomes lackluster, and look where we now: praying that we don't fall to 5th, because that's what typical Arsenal is.

Arsenal have to stop being typical Arsenal. Hopefully next season they'll succeed.

yeah i agree with u that it probably suck to be an arsenal supporter (im ManU by the way) due to recent dissapointments but like i said before...the failure isnt wenger's fault. Why?

2. The league is getting stronger with the rise of ManCity and Tottenham, 3rd place is actually very very good considering they are above teams like chelsea and liverpool (both heavy spending teams)
