Not really same location lah. If within 5km range there are quite a few Malls ; ie. WangsaWalk, Aeon Alpha Angle, Setapak Sentral, M3 Mall, Giant. Footfalls might also be slightly higher as the KL East Mall will be very convenient for Taman Melati PVs resident just accross MRR2 with completion of the pedestrian bridge, as those people do not need to drive unlike Melawati Mall. The tenants seems different as well by looking at the advertised list.
Believed this KL East Mall is the first fully owned and operated by Sime. Might be wrong though
