I think there are two AP traders open thread for pre-order already. But i believe this time Samsung gonna release it worldwide or as many countries as possible. Not like S2 last time when we have to wait nearly 3 months for the phone to reach here

Like i posted before, it's not a matter of time but a matter of volume. Once it reached quota Samsung will shift it Exynos production to the next processor. There's no point churning out old Exynos processor forever.
My bet is 10 - 15 millions. Then most probably Ti OMAP will take over as both Nexus and US LTE is using this type of processor.

half baked ICS is the last upgrades for original Galaxy S as the phone reached it hardware limitations already. Dont know whether Galaxy S Advance can receive ICS or not. Any news or rumours about Advance.?

If by official means you can only get half baked ICS then by using custom roms, maximum you can get is suku masak..!! Cyanogen can never fully utilised ICS no matter what. There are bound to be something not working. Have tried CM on both SGS and SGS2 before and both times the result was the same.
But still..better ada than takde langsung :-))
Anyway... what i really meant was hardware limitations and NOT firmware limitations :-P

Unless you're rooted and use custom rom, SGS on stock rom lags like hell. BIG difference between stock SGS and stock S2

SGS got small 512MB RAM compared to 1GB on S2. Like i said before SGS reached its hardware limitations already. Hope SGS user can upgrade their old phones to S3 :-))

Sold your wife G version phone and buy S3. Buy it early and dont use crack apps in it.

Updating 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 shouldn't be any problem as both is Gingerbread. Your SGS still on stock or use custom roms already. All apps should be working without problems.
3G video i cant comment as i sold my SGS quite long long time ago when S2 launched.

Just let it be. The most important thing is you satisfied with the phone yourself. And the phone should atleast meet 80% of your daily requirement/needs. What others say good doesn't mean it must be also good for you. And vice versa :-))

Galaxy S series always standout since the begins of time :-))

Aiyohh..hanging issue lagi. You go ask in S2 thread how many of them got hanging issue. 90% will say none while another 10% will say they got issue and nearly all of that 10% either got faulty set or using crack apps.

Unless you got S2 GT-I9100P where it got NFC, i'm afraid you have to buy S3 or Nexus to play beam me up Scotty

Wrong. I use atleast 3GB for browsing and downloading from internet. Hence why i loves my GNote.
If you only need as you stated above the Nokia 3310 should be enough for you :-P

And the ONLY one that have additional subforum in XDA :-))
