How much to do all this?
Take a nice photo of your car, photoshop the logo to the left, and a decal on the doors, then post it in the forum = FOC

vapor from the spray and the pressured can itself is extremely flammable.. silicon in itself is quite stable at high temperature but it IS flammable

guess that is what the "At your own risk. LOL!!" is for  biggrin.gif
Exactly! Flammable.

I usually spray an elaborated amount of silicone lub after a wash (aka very cold engine), then hose down the excessive lub to leave just a thin layer on the surfaces.

The 'oily' surface may be a magnet for dust but frequent cleaning for the first week will reduce than to minimum level.

Best part is, the thin layer lasts very very long. So next wash is just a simple hosing without any detergent or brushing.

I use sunlight and a paint brush to clean the engine bay.
