so hard to find a teso guild/community that caters to dedicated lorefags/hardcore fans of the series sad.gif

hope they come out with a RP server so i dont have to throw profanities at the screen whenever i see little shits like MAGICLHIEHELF82 <NASI LEMAK 2.3 GUILD> running across cyrodiil and spamming chat in languages other than english/those in TES universe. ****.

I invested a point to spot the ores and wood when i first started out, and learnt flowers the hard way.

can spot them easily now after about a month (as good as chests) and could kinda memorize the best spawn points in vet10 locations/cyro/crag so I threw the points to somewhere else

anyone still in/going back for Unlimited?

if you're going the melee way a few useful skills early on would be uppercut/puncture, flame whip, dark talons, cleave/flame breathe. general rule is equipping about 2 AOEs and 1 knockback/root + stun could greatly aid your survival against groups.

for 1H users try buffing up with razor and then alternating between searing strike (for the dot & heal) -> heavy attack -> flame whip -> heavy attack -> flame whip for single targets, complement with fire breathe for groups

for dk mages destructive clench is great for early survival, similar to uppercut in that it allows you to solo pretty much every boss except those immune to stun/knockbacks. fire ring is still one of the best aoes around to quickly clear groups of mobs

Might not be possible to learn all the skills, not sure if that will change in future updates

For now at max level (VR14), you may have enough to learn about 75% of all your skills & morphs.

Best would be to invest fully in your race abilities, 2 weapon skill trees, 1 armour skill tree and 2-3 crafting trees (enchant is pretty useful when you reach max).

You don't need to learn all the skills in a skill line, if you want to level up a spell just make sure it's in your action bar when you gain experience (killing enemies, pvp, unlocking chests, completing quests, dungeons etc). Skills that are not in your bar will not level up unless you read books.

When you reach max level in a skill, you can swap it from the action bar with a lower level skill when you turn in quests/open chests etc so that the experience gained will contribute to the lower level skill, instead of being wasted.

Armour & weapon skill lines will level up depending on the type of armour/weapon you equip in each slot, plus bonus for each amour/weapon-related spell you equip in your action bar.

Stealing and opening chests/safe boxes will level up Legerdemain.

Crafting skills will level up when you create/deconstruct/improve equipments.

Thank you for the very indepth and useful information. May I ask is there any addons you could recommend that shows all the quests that I have not fulfill instead of trying to walk around to search for a quest?

No clue on that, usually each main city/village will have at least 3 quests associated with it, with 1 that will lead to an "Area clear" conclusion and the other 2 that side tracks.

You would be better off in terms of exp progression if you follow the breadcrumbs starting from the first city, as doing quests in the order that ESO wants you to will net you greater exp than if you run around completing quests in different areas. The main quests generally gives the most exp and a skill point on completion, so unless you're a completionist it should be fine to skip a side quest or two in your adventures.

You could also pretty much discover all the quest locations if you go to where the Skyshards and Lorebooks are, as they are often located nearby to one another:

Been on top 3 bg leaderboards for the past couple of weeks (NA server, lag is not an issue to me) and enjoying casual vet trials/dungeons until the incompetent developers in ZOS break the game again with the Murkmire patch.

just jumped back in for 2 months after 3 years hiatus and had a good run, probably stopping for good in a few days time sad.gif
