Not sure if this game is worth waiting... they still have months to make this game good..  anyway.. will play FF14:ARR for now

They showed some new trailers that is around 20 minutes long in the Quakecon , which looks sort of intriguing especially toggling between 1st and 3rd person view .

Video credits goes to IGN

But the due to the recent reveal of the uber anticipated MMO , EQNext which just hyped up to the next most wanted MMO , this game totally got overshadowed among the sea of mmo.

Anyone here is new to participating in a closed beta ?

Last time I checked ( which is 3 hours ago ) ,the NDA for ESO has only been lifted for a couple of journalist and exclusive game sites editors .

And I assume none of you ( particularly the one that posted screenshot and the impression ) are any of the journalist listed on the link
If you want to look at the game impression , check out http://www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline...ons_megathread/

Other than that, what some of you did here are Childish and Unacceptable ! mad.gif You can be reported to Bethesda since you are violating the NDA , and have your account effectively stripped from you . Not to mention You can also be prosecuted on law for violating the agreement you signed upon participating in the beta .
( You may not take it seriously , but there were 2 kids from North Carolina who have been prosecuted by Blizzard before for showing off gameplay videos of Diablo 3 's Alpha )

Be professional , remove your screenshot and impression right now . If Bethesda saw these it is possible that they may exclude Malaysian Gamers from participating in any future close beta of their upcoming games . You don't want to make the whole country suffer just because of one person's childish behavior . vmad.gif

you mean the one with the screenshot of the sign in page?

Yes , even if it isn't the actual gameplay screenshots . It is still prohibited.
Even the game journalist themselves were only allowed to post a maximum of 15 screenshots.
Also the several post that talk about the game flow , including the plot , location details .

I have been in the game 's beta for weeks myself and keeping my mouth shut . They have just opened the game to a few more people and we're seeing this happened .

None of us want to receive an email in the future saying that our country is not longer eligible for any of the game's beta .

Anyhow been playing skyrim again for a few hours to compare to ESO, honestly i dont know why people have in their minds that Skyrim graphics were much superior, actually ESO excels in certain parts compared to skyrim. maybe 3 years ago skyrim's visual detail were the best at the time, and we have this mindset that its better than ESO.

It is unreasonable to compare the graphics of an offline single player game to a MMO Game.
There are a lot more technical limitation involved when you are creating a MMORPG .

A simple example here , in an offline single player game the NPC are displayed in lesser polygons than the main character you are controlling. You can control your main characters , walking around the town in new shiny weapons and elusive armors while most of the NPC are staying in their old and rusty armors forever.

But in a world of MMORPG , every walking and controllable character models are displayed in full polygons.
Not to mention you will also need to calculate possibility of the maximum players that can show up on a screen . ( This will eventually goes up to thousands times or more than a single player offline rpg , which will require a lot more processing power of a PC and will eventually cause graphical lags and glitches )

People are obviously comparing it with Skyrim since they have a bunch of Godlike modders that keep the graphics of that game up 2 date and the game still look insanely beautiful till today.

A good read on why ESO can't look like Skyrim , click here

I don't think there's any harm in posting impressions as long as things regarding to the game's storyline or lore are kept vague(hence my description of tall blonde chick and old man).
No need to be so uptight, plenty of other sites and forums get away with a lot more. Just a small and friendly warning would've sufficed.

I appreciate that people that were involved in the incident were quick to respond .
I am just here to warn people of the consequences that may follow after.

Just because there are other people doing it , doesn't mean we should be following them.
And how can you be sure that these people actually get away ? You never know .

On big site like mmorpg.com , any topics about the gameply were moderated 10 minutes after it was posted.
We have fairly lenient policy regarding NDA in lowyat forum , but this has nothing to do with Lowyat . It is your responsibility to keep up to what you agreed upon signing up.

Like I have strengthen in my previous post , if Besthesda ever find out about cases like this , they wouldn't do anything to you individually since they wouldn't have the time to.
Instead they will just exclude the whole country into their list of exception for their next game / beta entry , notice how the notorious Filipino gamers were always excluded in some of the AAA game beta ? This is one of the reason.

You signed for an NDA agreement , and it isn't just about the lore/story . The gameplay themselves are also part of the aspect .
Primarily they don't want people to get the wrong idea before the game actually releases .

And of course , as a gamer I personally disagree with Bethesda 's decision to keep the NDA active until today because it prevented the mass public to provide more opinions on the game.
No criticism , hardly any improvement.
