for the rubber coating... might be a pain in the @ss when cleaning off the dust...

I get what you mean.. just like those rubberized surface of certain branded gaming mouse... just horrible

You won't disappoint with Filco, while Razer depends on your luck due to the bad QC by the oem..

if case you don't know.. razer bw are made by other manufacturer with razer label on it.

which board you're getting

Silent & won't need to press hard...
- mx Red and mx Brown

somemore limited budget at RM250 max..
- ducky 1008xm is out because you need silent... (RM150+-)
- CM storm quickfire rapid (without numpad)
- import (keycool etc.. but warranty issue...)

Ducky boards are awesome, just 1 problem I have - the placement of FN key...

It replaced the menu key which I use quite a lot, any way to map the right ALT key to function as menu key?

If you like customizing key caps, then I wouldn't recommend the blackwidow because most of the custom key caps are made to fit standard layout

take note that standard key cap size for the spacebar row would be:
- CTRL 1.25x
- ALT 1.25x
- Win 1.25x
- menu 1.25x
- Spacebar 6.25x

total 15x

However, razer blackwidow:
- CTRL 1.5x (larger)
- ALT 1.5x (larger)
- Win 1x (smaller)
- menu 1x (smaller)
- Spacebar 6x (smaller)

total 15x
