They changed it adi, i remember during the last beta weekend, they implemented a system where they allowed u to change the locations that u play from but u need to pay some form of in-game currency.

that is world change, that is different, What I meant is if you bought your game from UK, you can only login from UK, you can still choose play in either US worlds or UK worlds, but you need to be in UK to login, AFAIK, don't get me wrong here I'm not trying to hinder your sales in fact if there is no such problem I can even let a few friend of mine know, as they are looking for cheaper copies of the game too, just wanna let you know to avoid problems....

maybe you can get a clarification from the ANet Staff, through e-mail or twitter or facebook then post the reply here...

if ANet keep to their promise then there should be a BWE this weekend, since it is the last weekend of May and so far there isn't one yet...
