secondly, how exactly useful is hero's band?

i am a player from SEA(Malaysia) just want to know if i buy a EU cd key can i play on SEA(Malaysia) or do i need to get the US code?

and will i be able to play if i am using the US code?

Thanks so much for contacting us regarding your question about cross region support. Anyone can play with whoever they want on any world (server) they want regardless of region. Unfortunately right now our development team hasn't really announced too much publicly about cross region play and restrictions. It's still a bit early on that front as they work on getting the game polished. However you can get all the latest news by watching the main site http://www.guildwars2.com/, the blog http://www.arena.net/blog/, our Twitter http://twitter.com/#!/guildwars2, and our Facebook https://www.facebook.com/GuildWars2. Once we do have some information it should be posted up on those sites. As we get closer to launching the game more information like that should be available.

just get the debit card and pay with it

Try using paypal. I think nowadays most debit cards can be used with paypal for purchases (except Bank Simpanan Nasional Matrix)

if you don't have 10mbps bandwidth, good luck...
