well it is a "stress test" , not for enjoyment... 4 hours is sufficient to see how well or bad their servers perform when stretched thin under heavy conditions. just like when you do a prime95 stress test on your PC, where one hour is sufficient...

Havent heard any official distributors here.. try Amazon for Box set.. but I think its really hard to get box set now.... most of us bought digitally from official GW2 website ^^;;..

yes i was able to dodge properly because the visual queue for the mobs to cast big skill is quite obvious...as for dodging in pvp it's harder...if you are 1v1 then you can do it, if you know ur opponent class well and know what spell they are gonna cast as there are not as much visual queue you will have to predict their spells...if its like 4-5 people fighting nearby it will be very hard as there are shits flying all over....

there is no "end-game" in gw2, even after you reach lvl 80 those mobs in the starter zone can still own you if you don't play properly, unlike other mmo in gw2 you don't have a specific tier armor you wanna aim for once you get it then wait for the next tier...you can go back re-do old dungeon or try new dungeon at lower level area and still find a possible upgrade to your gears....reaching lvl cap means almost nothing in gw2..so there is no rush to reach lvl cap then only start enjoying the game...just play it at your pace and you will still enjoy it as much...

PvP for GW2 is like a whole new universe...your gear in PvE are not link to the gears in PvP world(note this is for sPvP only not WvWvW)

so you will have to play PvP to earn points to buy PvP gears in there..

as for WvWvW you will be using your PvE gears but scaled up to max level stats.

hm.. I just launched my GW2.exe .. dont seems to have any updates.. maybe you havent update recently?

this is  the different between 1920x1080 and 1280x1024, Full HD will give you more FOV depth and you can see more area with it.. and the p (progressive) moniker usually used for Wide screen resolution i.e 360p (640x360), 720p (1280x720) and so on...

its not kill steal... Kill Steal means that when a person attacking a mob, then you came and kills it.. and you get XP and Loot, but the person that first attack the mob didnt get anything.. .thats Kill Steal... in GW2 theres no such thing... a person attacking a mob then you came and kills it, both of you got XP and Loots.. so theres no stealing in this case..



You can look at it in some ways.

1.

"Oh, this guy is kiting 3 ettins. Damn, he's skilled! Oh, one ettin about to die, tag him to get XP... now he's working on the other 2, oh he pulled another one! The second one bout to die, tag him again"

The player who is kiting must be thinking "Damn it son, help me out!", even though he also got XP and loot.

2.

"Oh, someone else is on the heart as well. Oh well, time to put some shoulder grease into it" ----> proceeds to help nuke the ettins that the player is kiting.

The player who is kiting now thinks "Thanks for helping out son!"

And then they both proceed to kill ettins. They might pull different ettins, but they bring them close to each other proximity, so that the heart can be completed faster.

Well, during all BWE, I always comes across the second situation. In fact, nobody was leeching off stuff, so the first situation is nonexistant. Since naturally, YOUR heart will be completed faster if you HELP the poor guy kills his ettins, instead of waiting for the last moment to tag and "killsteal".

And everyone got their own loot and XP, so why not help the guy, and why must you be aggrieved if someone else is helping you to bring down those 3 ettins you are kiting?

The normal PVP game, people afk pissing off other team mates that play to win.. players join in and out ..leave the game anything they want without penalty..  = failed.

You classify GW2 as FPS type game?

So basically, you CAN "kill steal" but self gratification is lowered so it's not that great?
I haven't played or pre-order yet.

What if one of this happens :-
1. A dynamic event, 5 people killing, 5 people afk INSIDE the dynamic event area. Mobs tougher but you manage to complete it. Do the people AFK get exp/coin/karma?
2. What if you hit one time all mobs kiting 5 mobs at once, then people help you and you sit around nearby them watching them kill it. Do you get exp? [If somebody so bad lazy to do stuff]
3. Crafting heavy? Does that mean you need to gather alot of stuff? "work work"
4. PVP structured right? All gets to 80, all get same items, same skills. But i read somewhere about "PVP Coins" that can make a person buy new items to get stronger in PVP is that correct?
5. WvWvW, All gets to 80, but different gear and skills according to level. Is there a huge difference between a person lvl 70 and 80 with their appropriate gears at that level to battle out one on one, with the same skills and same tactics?
6. What if i'm a hardcore gamer, and my friend is a casual gamer and we like to play together. I heard about the Level Scaling, wouldn't it be boring to farm low level mobs [it will scale down to become quite tough to beat] and get like low level items?
7. How big is the Dynamic Event, how long each DE and how many are there?
8. How big is the world?
9. How big is the WvWvW

I saw the WvW gameplay on youtube. Looks very unoptimized, cause I saw that the author was lagging.
