tucson and sportage share the same platform.
difference are the exterior and interior looks. so it depends on which one u like more.

other than that.. sportage has a very smart AWD system called Dynamax.. which giving it an edge over the tucson
and plus the gorgeous DRL.. 

Yup between Tucson 2.0 HS and Sportage 2.0.
i can really find comparison between the two as they tend to place the NA Tucson with the TC sportage that is not available here

yup ditched the idea of getting a SUV. my major turn off point is the ride comfort especially in the back where i will ferry my parents a lot.

i don't understand our buyers and sellers of cars. We have bad tar roads, heavy traffic, heavy ran, lots of industrial trailers which spill oil on the road, contractors makan bribe and build not spec road, low maintenance and the notorius malaysian drivers. IN malaysian there is non official speed limit in housing estates, highways. We speed to the max where there is no police like federal highway at night, long stretches of housing estates roads like usj

and yet safety is not important. ABS not important, air bag 2bags only, traction controll nope, milo tin design
yet our buyers never press the car seller for better safety. They believe salesman say that in japan 2 air bag good enough but japan roads are pristine, no lorries leaving oil on the road, rain is less there

When buying a car, first question to ask yourself:

RV more important or you and your passengers safety more important?

If RV more important, decide between T and H only. Otherwise, choose anything besides T and H.
