Normally major distributor got buffer stock given by manufacturer. This is to give those customers for warranty purpose. If you wait for the distributor to send back to Taiwan to repair, you will have to wait till the cow jumps over the moon. 
RM100 to repair processor socket is normal price. So to your question, it might be a new board or a refurbished board. Definitely not your old repaired board if only few days is what your retailer took to give you a replacement unit.
