OK ok just let you guys know how I get my Preve so fast. I book during the proton power of 1 event. if not mistaken during 15 of march. First two days of the event.
Booking I put RM 100 only instead of RM 500. cause that time i only got rm100 in my wallet. My SA says selection of color and test drive I can do it after the official launch. Wait after wait. during 16 April is the Preve Launch date. on that day itself. I could not sleep i text msg my SA say want to test drive tomorrow at 2.00pm.

So on the 17 April I test drive. test drive already immediately choose between blue or silver...think again...lazy people color always silver. so i select silver. I pay the extra rm 400. since i am the customer that book during proton power of 1 so she say priority is for me. Maybe I am lucky get car that fast.

But the thing is most of the work I do my self. NCB change from old car withdraw and get a new insurance for my old car I do it myself. during the 18th until 25 April. i visit my sa for four or five times i forget but i always do follow up. After that when i complete the NCB transfer give the document paper to the SA the rest of the things she do it for me.

The number plate i want my own number so i go JPJ myself. Get the number already after paying rm 230 or 250 or 220 i forget. then give the JPJ slip document to SA. then after a while waiting. on the 24th i get my Yes ID from SMS. so if you get any Yes ID from sms means your car already ready. on the 26 i go take my car. I spent almost 2 hours in the showroom... check everything. explaination of how things operate basic one. check oils and stuffs. my car they park inside showroom. i thought is show room car but the sales agent says no my number already there. my road tax already there. all the plastic never tear before. so when i reach the sales agent only tear it for me.

So i think this one we need to always get in touch with SA. always follow up. if things not running must do it yourself. then i ask my sa why no free smart tag? why no free ipad...why no free astro ... then the sa says if free all I no more commission. i say can give one extra umbrella ok yes umbrella can.

that's about it. during the ten days before receive car i also think ...dunno what happen to my car...during the transport to the showroom will it be in one pcs? will there be any accident...before i get my car. my mileage shown is 18km.. new car is like that i think 20 ~ 50 range should be acceptable...

I pray hard, hopefully you guys can get your preve very very soon and without any failures or very very minor issue that can be rectified as soon as possible.

that is pay as u go concept. Im not datuk lah, still young :-). Im not oso dsz. Share some info on iafm+ n cfe engine. On of important aspect during pheonix project engine is to optimise power usage n less loss by keeping the engine at its optimum operation temperature around 80 degree. If the engine temperature is less than optimum temperature, it causing the engine to work hard to pull the pulley n causing bad fc, and if the temparature is more than optimum operation, the power is loss n also causing bad fc. So, one of changing part in iafm+ n cfe is cooling part. Thats why iafm+ has the same service schedule as cfe cause it is na base of cfe. The diff are on vvt where being replace by iafm n no tubo charge unit and of course the bore n stroke. Others are more or less the same. Another diff between cfe n iafm+ is spark plug coz cfe used iridium based, iafm+ platinum based.

Thats why iafm+ service schedule is diff than iafm, cps n campro unit. Iafm, campro n cps has the same based,diff on certain tech only.

i believe they are trying their best effort to make sure everything fine, coz the previous qc list dont include the welding joint for example, but now, they have it, n prtn class(pdi unit), doing their best now to ensure all the complaints earlier is not appear to the car. For paint job, if there is any scratch@anything imperfect, do jot it down in the checklist n inform the sales advisor to rectify. They shud touch it up for u for free. Coz u know, even already pdi before load for the distribution, loading n unloading, driving to stock yard for safe keeping, sending the car to wash can cause the scratch n etc before hand in the key to customer, so, please complaints n noted it black and white in the checklist form, n keep ur copy properly. Easy for reference and claiming.

Even they already mentioned, warned,informed n trained never ever said 'biasalah bang, proton' to sa, foreman n etc, but the attitude is hard to control. They shud put customer in the 1st place. And do rectify all errors if any.

Typical malaysian attitude, even amongst prtn related workers, hard to wash away. But if can, take down their name, id number(if any), branch n etc in the complaint so that enforcement can be done. Write in complainnt form available come with the car checklist or at sc, emailing n even calling i care to report. This type of typical people need to be brought to attention. Tq.

Guys, I have just heard something quite disturbing but i need to stress that this is something that i'm not sure of since i didn't come across it anywhere. Is it true that the CFE engine's internals are all the same as a normal NA engine? Meaning they are not built for a turbo charged engine? Anyone heard of this before?

Sorry to heard that, i have the same fate as you...i have no ideas what to do now...   What i can do now is to make myself think positive, wait for the car and to enjoy the knowledge sharing from the Forum here....

No. You can get plat number registration even without chasis number. I got my registratin number before knowing my chasis number.

my beloved preve was finally discharged at 5.30pm. Accordingly the surgery was done by CAT, not by SC technical itself. Cat stands for 'Customer Action Team' from HQ.

I must say it is very successful.
-The engine sign has gone. (hope it won't come back)
-The left mirror changed. (They rushed for the stock)- Don't know if it is because of my email to HQ-
Before that, early morning, SC asked me to come back another day due to no stock.
-now, the gear indicator got lights but only green and red. Its normal.
-lock/unlock button ok (confirmed is not an indicator)
-ESC button OK (day time no light wan till you switch on the headlight)

Here come the big bonus 'no more lag' in 1st gear.
Very consistance and controllable speed. The ECU was remapped.
Before that used to be jerking on 1st gear, 'go or don't go' like that till you press the pedal further down.
