remember the spoilt suprise? Its actually the price and the warranty coz 3 years warranty is standard in new prtn previously(u can check saga flx@flx se) and the booklet was printed earlier. Afaik, 5 years is for ,major parts that been covered 3 years before. Its not ewp, but fully 5 years warranty for preve.

"I was a passenger as well as a driver in the Preve, and I will not put my foot in it by saying who actually was driving at the time, but I can assure you that the Preve is still very stable at 210 kph. I am usually a very nervous passenger, but in the Preve, there is a secure feeling, knowing that the car is very stable – the quiet interior also helps. Just in case you think that there is a huge speedometer error, the GPS indicated a speed of 202 kph, indicating a speedometer error of only 4 percent. For the record, the mooted top speed in the product brochure is only 190 kph. Straight line stability at high speed is extremely good, with very little pitch and yaw."

source : http://www.autoworld.com.my/v2/news/nb_det...=RT.ATC.CAR.BTW

and for manual lovers " Finally, if I had to choose between the manual and the CVT, it would be a difficult decision. My heart goes out to the manual, because with it, I can have fun on the road, and it will probably be more economical than the turbocharged version. My head tells me to go for the CVT, as it will be most useful when I get into the Kuala Lumpur city crawls. My heart again tells me that the turbo will provide me more power, and get me to places faster. What I really need is a Proton Preve with a turbocharged engine and a manual transmission – I heard that it is coming!"

hehehe. rclxms.gif

Yupp..that's correct. In this case i believe, impatience is not an issue if proton deliver the car according to the first come first serve basis..but unfortunately, the late come first serve basis also applies  sweat.gif This will creates displeasure & impatience for the early birds
*
agree. why not just practise 1st come 1st serve. if colour is an issue, so why we need to choose colour when making a booking during pre launch period although cant see a real colour on car. even in brochure. why?

I pre-booked the car during Proton power of 1 and Bukit Jalil...and I theoretically I got the car already, but I let go the car to someone else.

I think the delay is expected and I don't think Proton will setup additional production line for the initial surge. They as other manufacturing company will have projection and estimation before setting up the production line. Unless they underestimate the response. Furthermore it is not good to rush the production beyond their limit. I believe they have target time for a single car and to its not wise to reduce the target time as it will jeopardize the quality aspect.
*
ok la at least you got the car. colour 2nd issue. me book since 14 march, habuk pun tak nampak. SA just keep silent and stupidly give me a stupid reason.

Just skive la. No need go class one. laugh.gif

Soft TT where? The people here wanna do at the SG place. Which is where again?
THE BLUE LAGOON VERY NICE LIAO! MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I'M AT A LAGOON!

I can haz teh tarik too?
BLUE IS NICER!

C'mon man, free teh tarik ftw!
So heat rejection is good, but in terms of visibility, can't really do the nasty in the car lah. Demmit. There goes my plans laugh.gif
Same here. Just got in touch with my SA - he said everything is in progress. Proton really messed up the delivery this time round la. Considering your car now...but no offence - I just can't take the centre console. It's too...ergh. Really can't take it.
[/quote]

The main problem is Proton did not anticipate the high number of bookings. They should have known better. Sudden spike in demand, and they can't meet it. Very poor prep imo. The S&M team should have a circular to all branches and dealers stating that there will be delays. Instruct all SA's to get in touch with their respective clients mentioning that there will be delays. With a valid reason. Not just keep mum and keep everyone on edge.

They don't have to rush the production. They should have anticipated the market better (heck, send someone into forums like this to gauge the market). Failing which, they should have kept all prospective buyers, and more importantly, pre-bookers in the loop.

Above all, the should value us pre-bookers because we are their vanguard. How many flames have we quelled? How many unbelievers have we turned? Instead of prioritising the pre-bookers, they lump us together with the others.

Tell me then, what's the point of us pre-booking the car, if we aren't able to get it sooner? I don't give two fucuks if some dato/tan sri/tun gets the car first due to connections. What I wanna know is, what the heck is the bloody delay, and why aren't we being updated. Don't blame the SA - blame the people who should have given them training.

Pre-bookers mostly decided to put their faith in Proton - again. Don't let that faith waver. I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth it anymore. A good car is one thing - horrible service is another.

My faith is wavering.

[/rant]

K. Rant mode off. God. I'm still annoyed though.
I like the siggy too biggrin.gif Lol. Wayyyy OT. Not to mention we might just incite some war here.
So the Jalan Ampang one is dealer then? Did you get any freebies? I almost made my booking there, but the guy was kinda lansi-ish. Decided against it.
Mine is wireless bro cool2.gif
EDIT: OMG. Just got another text from my SA. Why the heck is getting a loan so hard back in Malaysia? Dammit. Things were so much easier back in UK. Can I use my credit history there to get me a god damned loan here? Bloody hell. No wonder people who come back wanna ciao like they got their assess on fire. Fuming. Fucuk this shit man. What the hell. Haih.

baru lps call proton i care... die kata booking awal sebelum launch pun kalau loan x approved nama takkan ada dalam sistem. loan approved baru nama boleh masuk dalam sistem. cilakak..tak gunalah booked awal... dia kata lagi 1-2 bulan baru dapat kereta...sebulan paling awal dari tarikh loan approved...
*
boleh ke macam tu? baik dia ckp sapa lulus pinjaman dulu dpt kereta dulu masa iklan utk booking haritu. i tny byk kali i punya SA dia ckp loan tak effect kita punya turn. tak tau la lepas ni dia guna alasan ni. kalau guna alasan ni i hentam dia cukup2 la. sbb i ckp kat i punya SA dah lauch baru i nak sign loan sbb i nak tengok kereta dulu. mana boleh sain tanpa tengok kereta. kerja gila kot. so apaguna camtu pi bayar duit RM 500 tu. lg satu kalau betul jwpn tu kenapa ada kawan kita yg dpt kereta cepat sbb ada kes org loan tak lulus. so di situ buktikan loan lulus ke tidak tak dak kena mengena. kereta tetap procedd. kalau tak lulus passing kat org lain.
