Just like Star Wars loose figures which I regard as either smuggled from China factory or didnt passed QC but the sold the shipment to 3rd party. But some have pretty decent paintjob and molding. I have seen worse.

MU Iron Patriot...if you had started earlier like 2 year back, you can find him alot at many toy dept stores. Was almost pegwarmer status but who can resist Iron Man fig.

Another nice Iron Man fig would be the modular armor.

Seth, try hardware shops that supply to car body paint shops. They usually carry automobile metallic paints.

You also need to prime spray the figure before applying the final paint coating.

Or try ACE Hardware stores, the bigger outlet ones.

For those who are interested to make Lady Deadpool custom, hope can find the loose figures for sale to canibalise. Sayang if I were to canibalise those bought at RM 45 each...no wonder you quoted RM 200 fee if ever anyone wanted you to make one.

I havent painted on an action figure before but here would be my tips:

1. Buy a decent metallic brand paint spray (follow instruction on the can)

2. Buy a primer spray. U need to apply a coating on the figure surface, let it dry before applying that metallic coating. The action figure have smooth surface.

3. Before trying out on your intended figure....test your skills on other figures (unwanted) 1st.

So time to buy a few cheap loose figures 1st or check your closet for any.

Every box also have babes. I like X-Baby Cyclops. May get that one 1st from evilbay.

Ah yes, the good old days where toys are much simpler and with real working missile accessories. MASK toys have lotsa gimmicks but action figure very simple but now have nostalgic value. But I dun think the same for these current Hasbro figures.
