Guys, im just wondering, isit true dat even after one finishes all 14 papers of ACCA, one is not a chartered accountant yet, while you also must shit for ICAEW exams+ work xperience to officially admit yourself and call yourself a true blue CA.

Under the directives of the Privy Council UK in 1996, all CCAB bodies (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW plus 3 others) are equal & granted the right to use the Chartered Accountant designation if they wish so.

It's different from the CA granted to all MIA members. All MIA members regardless which qualification you hold, are entitled to call themselves CA....even it's also given to the members of lowest standard body namely CPA (Aus).
