QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Apr 29 2012, 08:33 PM) Thanks! Okay sure, sorry if I offended anyone MIVEC isn't VTEC, though they are similar. MIVEC is slightly more comprehensive IINM, it works all across the rev range optimising stuff. Btw I really feel the push above 4k rpm, maybe it's just a psychological effect but I didn't know about the mivec thingy when I drove it. I only asked my uncle after that. That kick is becoz the engine delivers it's max torque around 4.5k rpm. IINM anyway. Might be wrong coz I'm just a Teacher lol. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Apr 29 2012, 08:40 PM |

QUOTE(T630 @ Apr 30 2012, 01:43 AM) I said so lol. Tot you did edi.Anyway, had a fun friendly convoy with a civilized X6 all the way back from Malacca on Sat. Average 160, high of 190. Didn't try to go 2hun coz balls shrunk, plus malas to overtake the X6. Maybe next time lol. Road was filled with ricers thinking they were driving Ferraris though, hella fun looking at them struggling around the corners. And as usual flew again OTW back to Lipis. Really have to identify the exact location of that blardy dip in the road so I can slow down like hell before getting to it. My arse sore edi, thankfully was driving at a "civilized" speed (aka 120). |

Hey guys, anybody with experience dealing with Ah Kit Shah Alam? Eying the Volks 2nd hand he has for sale: http://is.gd/wO5Ayu
Seems like an interesting piece of kit, not sure if it's ori volks though. @William: Like I said a few versions back, sure the stock sus is soft, but heck it handles mid corner bumps and shiat well over here on the 8 trunk. Not sure if it's gonna be as good with stiffer springs and abs. My current problem is the 205/60 tyres. Flexy wall and not enough rubber lol. Somebody must make www.wll.com edi. To have an actual waitlonglong website would be epic.
Okay, new topic to discuss. Gear Lock vs Brake Lock vs T-Rex with shock sensor + alarm vs Upgraded Alarm system. Cheapest is the T-rex (basic: RM200) though the ultimate version is like a car alarm system edi (pricewise asso: RM900). This post has been edited by Eiraku: May 1 2012, 11:27 AM |

QUOTE(asdasd @ May 1 2012, 06:16 PM) The dip is about 1km b4 the junction to fraser hill if heading into raub. theres a new school at that junction. Also the dip wont be felt if driving to bentong. Ah, will try to pinpoint exact location tho, that's the only problem area on my night ride back. IINM it's somewhere at the end of the long straight before the 2 turns heading to the school/Fraser Hill junction, so the dip is a dangerous trap because people think it's safe to go high speed on that straight lol. BTW, fellow Pahang lynspira kaki? Agreed on the Central Spine Hway, but that's gonna take some time. @Rubz: Slipstream to save fuel lol. |

QUOTE(xeda @ May 1 2012, 11:45 PM) yeah, sayang kereta ma...last time my satria and gen2 use 95,engine become cacat, sluggish and hard to start... I tried 97 before. Not much diff with 95 actually lol, a lil smoother oni. With 1.8 it might be better though, as 97 knocks less. FC wise with 97 is oni a little bit better, power wise 95 felt better (gasp!) lol.Now pumping 95 most of the time, 97 once a month or so just to clean stuff up. I'm on BHP most of the time, since someone did a survey once and found out that BHP is best power/fc wise. Supposedly. This post has been edited by Eiraku: May 2 2012, 12:54 AM |
