I adjust2 my HU (aka my handphone) you guys gone jor.

No matter, I drive home 190 from Batu Tiga toll to Shah Alam (self speedcut, balls shrunk) - after today's cheapie mods the entire damn car feels considerably more responsive edi.

Engine even sounded smoother and less strained. Somehow.

That's one helluva placebo effect wor. Granted a few mods done lol, not sure if any one is a major contributing factor - or a mix of all.

What cheapo mods you have done ?

VS + Grounding: Smoother power delivery and idling.
Self drill effing holes + Close snork holes: Better engine breathing and more responsive revving.

Just don't blame me if THIS happens later.

Eiraku: VS and grounding really got effect meh? Seen alot comments that it's waste of time wor
*
Depends on WHAT EFFECT you're expecting. You expect your car to +10bhp +10nm torque after VS + Grounding then YESlah it's a waste of time.

Radio is louder, aircon a tad colder, engine response smoother a bit, idling more quiet, lights brighter - this much I can say for sure is VS + Grounding effect.

My INCREASED engine response and power? That one prolly the modded air holes + modded snorkel + tightened airbox (mine was not 100% correctly fitted).

And I can't say for blardy sure that the VS + Grounding isn't helping here too - the link between car electronics and performance is still very much black magic lol.

er.....why you taped off the holes underneath?

1 pros is , u will force the car to use colder air, thus helps in FC.

1 cons is at low speed, the air will travel slightly longer distance(response slower) , and depends on the holes u open in front, it might or might not be enough tongue.gif
*
Hmm, I thought about that too. Thus I left some holes open under the snork for start and stop. So far start and stop performance is at LEAST not WORSE post mod (somehow slightly smoother? Prolly just the VS + Grounding) but response AFTER the car moves is definately better.

But hor, the Ralliart snork no holes one? Hence worse start stop performance? Anyone can comment?

I know open pod asso is like shiat if not done properly.

@Amin: Thanks for the lenghty explaination. Makes a lotta sense.

@Ckming: It's additional cost maa. You think car manufacturers wanna sell cars that cost "extra" to make? Less profit margins wor.

Car is ALREADY okay what. Why spend more to make it BETTERER, and earn less? -> What mitsu might be thinking.

@T630: No eye see wor. I'm even starting to like the Superleggra now, heeeesh!

long time not here, juz wanna ask, in the service broucher, it stated 40k for cvt gear oil change. but my driving style is a "little" bit not normal. how late should i change it? >.<
*
Don't worry. That's severe usage edi lol. But if you don't feel comfortable, go change every 20k lol.

I really think that Lynspirans that drives "normally" is a special rare breed to begin with lol.

Nope, because according to the SA they cant give anymore discount as the price is lowered already compared to 2.0p.
*
And they conveniently forget that they already discounted the old 2011 2.0P cars down to 2.0E price a month or two ago. Some got even cheaper (8k-10k discount asso).

Proton really should stop throwing their prices around, sigh.

No matter, you got 2012 car bro, less depreciation later.

Yay tomorrow Pahang Hol Holiday. Anybody for illegal Rootbeer TT tonight?
