Between Andaman (room only) and Meritus (room + brekkie), which is better? Plan to indulge a bit on my final night in langkawi, budget around 500+..
Or any other suggestions?

Yes i plan do the walking and sightseeing in first 3 days. Last day just stay in hotel relax.
Will stay in cenang area for first 2 nites.
I also think Andaman better but my waifu like hotel buffet breakfast.... If add breakfast in Andaman will over budget >.<

Four Seasons? You kidding or u can get 70% discount for me? tongue.gif

I not yet book but found a few places around 150/nite.....
We like hotel brekkie is the feel where we wake up, take our time and go down to restaurant and eat to our desire, the variety, the atmosphere and all... Especially in 5 star rainforest resort... Its better than need to get dressed, drive out, eat, and come back...
Tats y still thinking Andaman 500+ but no brekkie... If brekkie included then is no brainer liao....

Hi. I need to ask something. I will be going to Langkawi for 4 days 3 nights. Can I buy liquor immediately upon arrival or I need to wait for 2 days? May sound a stupid question but need to confirm.
Thanks. smile.gif

I would like to ask whether credit card can be used extensively in Langkawi?
For example restaurants like Orkid Ria, Red Tomato, etc.. duty free shopping, buying tour packages, car rental, .....
And are ATMs easily available? The hotel I booked is budget and dont have safe deposit box, so I thinking dont bring so much cash...
Pls advise thanks!!

Pulau Payar is not one of 99 islands of Langkawi....
Its just the tours depart from Langkawi, which take shorter time compared to go from Penang..

How to go Koh Lipe from Langkawi? Can day trip?

That's cheap. I remember last time I pay over RM100 for Pulau Payar package from Langkawi.
*
There are 2 types of Payar package. 1 is snorkeling by seaside near the beach, cost around rm90.
Another is go to the floating platform, if not mistaken price is about rm200.
Floating platform got glass panel can see underwater without getting wet.
