i am having a family trip with total of 9 adults & 1 kid to langkawi..

could anyone give me some idea, should i rent 2 cars or rent a 10-seaters or 12-seaters van?

Wanna get some personal opinion from you guys on the resorts if anyone has any verdict. I'm aware that there's loads of resort reviews available in the internet but they ain't what I was looking for.

My main target is to go to one of the resort in Langkawi, and relax. Prefer the ones with a private beach and good food. So why didn't I go with the internet reviews? Coz they keep talking about the spa spa spa and swimming pool. Eventhough my budget is slightly on the high side, I don't want to pay for service which I don't use. Just want a nice isolated area with no frills.

Currently, the one I have in mind is Holiday Villa. Just because of the restaurants ...

i got pretty nice deals for sheraton and also four points in langkawi. dont know which are to choose from. may i know which location are much better? already googled around seems like both are quite far away from town. anyone have more detailed information about this both?

If I wear swimwear, would people stare with me?
Do they have alot of people in swimwear (bikini) at pool?
