Of your 3 options - I'd probably bet on Fave over Best Star. Won't consider Kuah as it's town - not a beach. Have stayed in Casa Fina in Cenang, which was excellent (10 minute walk down to busier part of Cenang). Also within budget.

Guys, anybody got experience/opinions on buying perfume in langkawi? I'd expect Kuah to be better off in terms of choice and pricing, but am quite noob with perfumes and their prices. Can anyone share whether worth buying perfumes in Langkawi? Travelling there late November.

It has been mentioned to me that our KLIA perfume duty free prices aren't very good, especially when compared to duty free stores in other countries, ie: HK.
