Just came back from LGK (4 days 3 night) Stayed at Pantai Cenang.

Rented a MAzda 2 for MYR 270 ( claimed was a new car). Just wondering off -peak price at that rate? Was it a cut throat deal?

Place worth mention for eateries would be the following:

Pantai Cenang: Red tomato

Perdana Quay: The Loaf

Kuah Town: Thai Food Tok Wan smtg. ( A must try behind KFC stretch of road)**
Comment:

-Super hazy skyline at langkawi for the past days i have been there. (Cable car under maintenance for 2 days)

-Originated from the city,not used with the fact that walking along the street at 10 am and the shops are mostly not opened yet, or just only begin setuping up.

-BAD exp (SUPER CHENG + *** LANSI) at KUAH town one of the digital camera shop lady wasn't even keen of doing business. Her replies "I here everything also got..u slowly think think then u confirm want to buy, i tell u the price.." when being ask for a particular model price. Insist to probe further she replied "my shop got everything but you confirm buy then i tell u the price".

-Tried the sunset dinner cruise package... super ossum.

-Me beign a typical idiot who is a hardcore SHELL supporter all this year, in LGK there is only 1 SHELL in the whole LGK (situated in KUAH)..minyak in the car when return ada lebih lagi.

If follow the Custom rules & regulations, you can carry per person 1 bottle. Sometime they don't really care that much by hand carry onboard. Ferry the Custom seem to be more strict than flight thru my experience.

My friends (2 persons) tried before (3 days 2 nights) hand carry 4 bottles without blocking by the Custom.
