Since this thread helped me a lot, time to give back a little
Just came back from langkawi at 18 July, after been there 4d3n. Stayed in Mali perdana which is a bit of a let down with broken shower and door. But for only rm80 per night and coway water filter.

The view on top of cable car is definitely must go. Wildlife park is a must go for parents with kids with lots of animal feeding. Underwater world try to catch the sea lion or seal (forgot) feeding time, good show.

Car rental I got a very new myvi for rm210 for 4 days. Quite a bargain. It's the first car rental store after exit arrival at airport. A big guy name Bob. Must negotiate. Anyone wan contact let me know.
