Hi anyone been to langkawi recently and can confirm that you can hand carry a sealed liquor bottle in airasia flight?

Not planning to get check in luggage so want to confirm if this is still allowed. Thanks!
*
Yes you can, I myself went through it & they kind of make sure you carry by hand and not put in checked in luggage.

Also, my ticket is more on higher side of things as I missed my prior flight. So not sure if they will let you through if you have another carry on as mine was way over-weight but they still let me through

Just curious also, do they have any legit luxury car rental? Just looking for sporty hatch back like A45 or Golf GTI?

Hi sifus, going to travel Langkawi for the first time. Heard that chocolates are quite cheap for a duty-free island, just want to know any Langkawi exclusive chocolate for alcohol and non-alcohol? Budget for both types is around RM500.

If RM500 budget just for chocolate is too much, maybe any other exclusive souvenirs worth buying???

Shopee do exclude transportation fee right? I have a 10kg luggage capacity, with cushion inside to give extra protection for fragile items. How much can I buy for the exclusive things?

i don't think there are exclusive chocolate there
most are all foreign brand
and beware on buying too much
most of the chocolate are near expiry date...check the date before buy or gauge how much u need

Hi all, am going to Langkawi in few days, just wanna check on a few things beforehand:

1. Will renting car beforehand better or just do it at the airport since its off peak?
2. If I do not have check-in baggage, does the liquid amount of perfume (planning to buy 1 or 2 in duty-free store) be included in the "1litre per pax" condition on flight to go back KL (am flying with MyAirline)?

Guys, if we buy from Langkawi duty free shops, is there any purchase limit we can buy back to other Peninsula states before kena tax duty?
Is the purchase limit same as those imposed for buying goods back from Thailand?
Thank you.
