I personally think STEAM should just disable the Profile name changing, and just solely stick to Steam ID as our name, all these crap issue wont be happening.

Who the heck need to keep changing their profile name anyway, kinda pointless

And charge people each time they want to change their nick like what Blizzard is doing? No thanks. smile.gif

While I do admit that it's a bit frustrating to see weird nicks in my Steam friends' list, I'm glad that Steam actually have the courtesty in providing us the ability to check the past alias that they used, which helps a lot when it comes to identifying who's who.

Added on June 14, 2012, 9:10 pmwell if u specify the name despite being ur friend. U can state Clearly that it is his imposer.  smile.gif At least it helps a bit to add more awareness to careless steam user. No offense to the real Alone + target tho I am not against u.

Again no. It's been a norm for lowyat.net forum users to either fast-read (me being optimistic) or intentionally miss out the vital points in the message to make it flame-able (me being pessimistic). INMO, he did the right thing to filter out the nick instead of revealing it out right.

This is the Internet after all & one thing lead to another before hakimix starts receiving death threats from all the scam victims out there.

Definitely the last post since most of the questions they post are already answered in the first post itself. sweat.gif

I'm a bit half hearted on Summer Sales. Cheap good games are so tempting. But I already have a long list of games waiting to be played. So I'll be continously adding to the list, and sometimes the priority in the list changes, so some games i may not even touch! tongue.gif

Congratulations! You've finally reached the supreme state of Steam enlightenment! biggrin.gif

EDIT: To remain in this supreme state, you'll have to buy more Steam games & please do your part in "enlightening" the other poor souls out there who have yet to attain similar status. notworthy.gif

Should be SP3 but does it matter to uncle Gabe and gang? They are cutting off specifically SP1 only? In office, can't see the link, I thought they are cutting off XP entirely.
*
Yup, SP1 only. SP3 fag here. icon_rolleyes.gif
