First of all, I would like to congratulate Bayern Munich for reaching the 2011/2012 Champions League final. That's two UCL finals in three years.
I really thought Bayern deserved to be in the final. Taking a 2-1 lead from Munich, you guys actually came to Bernabeu AND played football. No parking the bus and stuff. More shots on goal, more possession against the mighty Real Madrid. I'm unaware of who is going to miss the final but Schweinsteiger, Muller, Gomez, Robben, Ribery, Lahm and Neuer are very good players. I was very impressed with Alaba tonight as well but sadly, he'll miss the final I think. Now, go out there, in front of your own fans in the Allianz Arena and beat the crap out of Chelsea. I don't mind Bayern equalling Liverpool's record of 5 European Cups but I never want to see Chelsea win. From a Liverpool fan (probably also a Barcelona glory hunter XD) And nice, Die Roten, which translates into 'The Reds' in English. You have the same nickname as Liverpool FC. Real Madrid won at Santiago Bernabeu in 1956/1957 so they would be the first unless Bernabeu wasn't their home then XDBut it was known as European Cup then so ... yeah you are right .. Bayern will be the first to win UEFA Champions League at home if they win. This post has been edited by Adryan: Apr 26 2012, 06:28 AM |

HaHaHa this is too funny. Bayern went behind in the 6th minute, of course they have to go on the attack. Whose to say they wont park the bus if they're ahead? .Yes, Bayern played better than Real, but they're also the fresher of the 2 teams. Congratulations to Bayern, but no need to slag off Chelsea's achievement, especially with a dumb statement like this.I really thought Bayern deserved to be in the final. Congratulation to Bayern Munich for reaching the 2011/2012 Champions League final. That's two UCL finals in three years. Chelsea also not bad, 2 in 4 years.
I thought Bayern and Chelsea deserved to be in the final for taking their chances and employing the tactics suited to go against their opponent. (Bayern - attacking football, Chelsea - defensive football) Bayern has Schweinsteiger, Muller, Gomez, Robben, Ribery, Lahm and Neuer who are very good players. And playing in front of their home crowd, they have the advantge of homeground against Chelsea. I think two things will happen - Bayern equalling Liverpool's record of 5 European Cups or Chelsea winning their first UCL Cup. |

Honestly, don't see Chelsea taking this one again. A makeshift side with a temporary manager, against a well experienced side. A bridge too far, Roman.
