anybody please advise. i am getting my very first new ipad3 wifi+3G soon. just dilemma that.which storage should i get. someone say you need a bigger storage cause load up the tablet with Apple’s Retina-display ready apps. Larger, graphically intense games that weigh in between 300MB and 500MB today will likely require 750MB to 1.5GB once they update their art assets.e someone can clarify? |

Get the highest spec, 64gb + 4g, sure no regret. To enjoy games & movie in iPad you will appreciate later. 16 or 32 will not enough though.

If you do lots of downloads like videos, songs etc, 16gb is definitely not enough. Even on 32gb, you have to be hardworking to do spring cleaning every now and then. If you have RM300 more, just get the 64gb for piece of mind. 1 HD movie download is already 1+gb, so you can only store a few movies if you are on 16gb
If just for normal browsing and light gaming, 16gb is enough i think |

Actually, the actual space you get from the device is less than the stated space because some of it has been taken up by the OS.
Here are some compromise ideas I read so far - convert movies to lower res - carry only limited movies/entertainment - when it comes to files, must always clear up space - delete games after finishing - use cloud storage, iCloud gives 5GB, Dropbox gives 2GB, SkyDrive 7GB or 25GB but you need fast and stable Internet. A rule of thumb when it comes to storage space that I know of, is buy the most you can. It's better to have space you don't need than not having space when you need it - only if you have money to spare. No money but still want to buy? Buy what you can. That said, if you're travelling a lot and require movies/games for entertainment, your purchase of higher space would be reasonable. |

I find that Umobile is not bad, I'm using U28 which is RM28/month, capped at 500Mb. Well 500Mb not sufficient at all? I've used more than that, but they have yet to throttled down my speed nor charging me extras. Speed is averagely around 3-5Mbps.

Get the middle one - 32GB... just nice for an average user...
I think these days, big storage is a bit irrelevant due to the cloud storage like Dropbox and others.. all our data are in the cloud and sync to both the iPad and laptops/PCs... Unless u do the hassle of converting all yr movies to iPad format and view them on the device.. I've been using iPhone 8GB, iPhone4 16GB, iPad2 16GB and now iPad3 32GB.. never fill up to more than 50% of them at all .... buying extra storage is just a waste of money if you do not use it... |

Has anyone tried connecting the new iPad to tv using digital av adapter? I thot it will mirror the ipad but when i tried to connect nothing comes out. Anyone can help? It works on my iPhone though.

Can I ask something...new to apple product and the new iPad is my first apple product. I bought a travel charger that comes with a car charger. The shop guy ask me to use the original iPad cable that comes with the iPad and not the cable that is in the package..he said the cable in the package does not supply enough power like the original cable..is this true? Does cable make a difference or the charger that makes a difference? Cause when I tried to charge with the charger and cable that I bought from the shop shows not charging in the iPad..

Guys, my new iPad battery drop from 100 to 99 is 5 mins like that even though charged for 10 hours
 why u guys can have it stayed for 1 hour before it drops to 99 from 100%? |

guys, i transferred some photos from my MBP into my iPad using a 3rd party software (Cause i didn't want to sync it) and now I can't delete those photos from the iPad...
Help? |

Guys...who have just bought New Ipad from SenQ recently?
Just now wanted to get one from there....but the sales person said, there's T&C... " You buy the New Ipad, you need to buy the extended warranty as well" -.- The extended 4 years warranty cost additional RM355, covers the screen and battery as well. Repair, all FOC... In the end I din buy...as I fear this is double standard from SenQ....tomorrow try another branch and see... |

The Harry_Pontek recently bought the New iPad and been enjoying it since. Use it to research which restaurant serves the best crab meal around. He he he he. However, the battery life seems like a problem. It charges very slow and deplete very fast. The Harry_Pontek hopes that its not only him who face this problem. Anyway, any way to solve this? Change battery?

Is it advisable to charge it while the battery still have about 30%++ energy inside it? OR it is better to charge it when its less than 10%.

Its attributable to the larger fab process (45 nm right?) and not the latest and greatest 28nm or 14nm or whatever..
Therefore it is less efficient at converting the heat. I guess everyone should know that, getting the new ipad means playing the latest and greatest games which might make it hot. |

according to my genius assistant doctor googlesearch, water boils at 60 at a atm of 0.196. i don't think he when that high to boil water, its too much effort u know. i think the secret is in the boiler. this made to order boiler has the ability to change the air pressure around it. don't stand to close to it though. coz you eyes may pop up and u will die ugly

or maybe there is a simple explanation. o2jam game is very tense. u need full concentration. so one tend to hold the ipad very tightly when engaging this game. one hand is 36.9 degree. so if u hold tightly with 2 hands u times 2 lor .... become 70+ degree. factor in heat dissipation so drop to 60 degree. so normal la, don't need to worry. |

i wonder...the ipad icloud function. if i backup certain apps like where's my perry and set it to on in icloud backup...is it save the data of the levels i completed in the game or just backup the app without the save data?

bought ipad 32gb + wifi, may i know if i am using wifi is it mean that the papago's app is not applicable on my ipad? pls help on this, i am starting regret to buy this without 4g.. Mac studio's workers do not really advice me correctly. i am so sad T.T

Just bought my new iPad 32gb + 4g white color. Great display. Smooth scrolling. And so much better than my previous android tablet that I used to own. Asus transformer prime, acer aconia and Samsung tab 10.1. So I'm a newbie noobs on iOS. Tunjuk ajarku sifu to all otai's here.......

I bought at apple reseller at Kuantan call iPeople. I use celcom simcard RM68 /month (3gb data) and for wifi I use Yes Huddle RM150 /month (10.2gb data). No problem for now but when downloading apps specially for this device say GarageBand from apple took so much time cause it's huge size 800mb++. Bet more apps got huge file size also like games. More downloading time.... Huhuhhu.....

Hi all, im interested to get 'the new ipad' wifi + 4g. Have dilemma between
- black vs white - 32gb vs 64gb I understand the color and size is based on preferences and how/what im going to use it for. However would like to know more about hidden technical details maybe? such as batch? screen tint n etc? Any input/advise on this? also would like to know what i should check (the complete check list) when buying (check on the spot) so i can avoid or swap for a proper one if it is defect or not perfect. Is there a link to discuss/step bout this? Thanks in advance for all the inputs |

when i first put my celcom sim into my new iPad, some popup message appear says to update the network provider to latest [something like that, dont remember what's the full message says exactly], so, what is that exactly, is it happen because it was build for 4G so some upgrade needed for 3G card or what? i have says yes to it but didnt noticed any different after that....

Guys, personal hotspot means the ipad will be used as modem right? Put a simcard inside the ipad, then I can connect my laptop to internet by using the data plan in my ipad. Correct?
The personal hotspot can be connect trough usb cable, wifi n bluetooth, right?? Just to make sure this thing is correct before I cut my broadband simcard. I'm using celcom. Supported for personal hotspot right? Thanks. Just bought one today |

Celcom broadband rm68 per month. Should be no problem right using this package for my ipad? Mostly used for google n facebook only. Either I cut my broadband simcard myself or just go to celcom, ask a new micro sim card from them.

Anyone here facing problem with maxis getting stock for the iPad? I made my booking earlier over a month ago and then no calls then I called on Wednesday to make a follow-up on my order. CS claims that the agent called me but I did not get any calls.
Then on the same day, CS sent email to agent requesting for the agent to call me back (in which she did but told me she will follow up on the matter and will call back on the same day later that evening). Today I called maxis again and CS claims that agent's report said that she kept calling me but I did not pick up my calls (but I awake the whole night till the next afternoon and managed to answer all my calls that evening?) I wonder if I'm the only one facing this? hmmm.. |

1) what software/settings are you guys using to convert movies to optimize for the new screen resolution of the new ipad? i am using handbrake but it seems that it reduces the quality/resolution despite my source being a full HD file. any ideas/solutions ? or should i just give up and buy a damn app that can plays mkv files ? |

Just finished downloading iOS6 this morning. Maps looks nice and the turn by turn info looks great though it is still the same map as the previous one. Like the clock interface as well.
Forgot about Siri and only played with it for about 5-10 mins b4 going to work. Will explore further at night. So far looks great. |

I recommend to backup thru icloud, may be abit slow to restore but works. My backup from itunes say error so need to sync from scratch |

Hey guys, new iPad user here. I bought one yesterday and did the backlight bleeding test and noticed a minor one at the bottom side of the screen only if i really pay attention. Should I get an exchange? It doesn't really bother me but then again for the price I pay...

Any1 with new ipad on ios6 have problem like apps crashing? ( Fb, chrome, safari, app store, showyou, games) and sometimes even respring springboard?
Also wifi connection, some access point I may connect some will connect and dc at any moment... Last time happens on ios5.1.1 after I jb, now on fresh ios6 also happen. Why ya? I did network reset, should I do full reset or full restore ? |

A6X qualifies it as 4th gen but I must say, this is way too soon.A6X in the ipad 4 is presumably the same CPU as in the iPhone but with quad core graphics, also presumably SGX543MP4. For me it's doesn't really matters the new iPad out ,,, cos just the specs upgrade abit only,,, ipad3 works just fine...and iPad 2 owners should be proud also cos iPad is the 1st apple tablet with camera ,, iPad mini ,,, well for those who needs it smaller ,,, ipad4 a no no for me..

Actually I used ipad for a while already. But never got to dwell into this problem till now.
How do I get a mp3 song from dropbox to my ipad? I don't want to use iTunes coz i never turn on my computer nowadays. The best I can do is play the song directly from dropbox. New to scene... wanna ask. 1) i downloaded many softwares. then got ping for updates.. once update, it never stops@finish updating. summore cannot use the software (eg; games, fb, ibook, office). already restart few times dy. still problem persists. 2) how to transfer songs+movies to ipad? can't find any guides. new to apple and internet as well... so how to solve? asking for sifu's help...
