well, when u 1st subscribe to streamyx and the basic speed is 512kb...if u opt for the 1mb speed line, tmnet will then have to upgrade the line from 512kb to 1mb...u need to let tmnet know abt wht speed u r actually getting, so tht they can upgrade the port...it might take some time...

I just subscribe to the new holiday package and I m oso have the same thing...took abt 1 week for them solve my problem...just keep calling them...cheers...
