what is the best replacement for spen and smemo in stunner? does jotter works in stunner?

Jotter does not work on stunner right... did you try it?

what about direct screen capture editing, or any apps photo edit support spen?

Can you post the other screenshot, kernel wakelock and others, need to see the awake and deep sleep time... seems ok... leave your phone untouch for 2 hours... or best leave it overnight and get the reading in the morning... btw what BBS version are you using?

I used criskelo's before but he normally post the rom and dissapear.. seldom got patch or improvement to his rom.... basically it is like no support

while in stunner.. some of the widget will have the same error.. so you still need to adjust the real estate space especailly the row, i find 6x5 or 5x5 is good...

It took more than 5 mins for my first boot... due to cache rebuilding... so don't worry about it.. leave it for 5 to 10 mins...

Agreed, keyboard is really personal preferences but with swiftkey I hardly need to type 2 letter to complete a word...

As for Apex, it really lags on me, opening the folder full of icons and scrolling through them definitely laggy and stutter too... maybe the new update fix this... I still have Apex launcher installed, you can installed as many launcher as you wish and switch between them... and make your favourite launcher as default

Oh I have Pic Say the free version, can the pro version use the spen?

I encountered twice, then I notice that I only encountered this if I unchecked USB debugging, so I check it back and it has not happen since...

BTW, have you got rid of the triangle? I mentioned in V11, triangle away only work with LP1, so re-flash the LP1 ICS repack and then use the triangle away apps...

Now that we are back from bersih... anyone tried the new TMT 1.1 rom, it does not need the TMT base file anymore to flash if you are on ICS...

Try LiquidSmooth... it is really smooth, so much better than stunner, when I'm on stunner, there were issue with auto off during charge, auto reboot, some apps FC etc, so far on LIquidSMooth no such problems... remember to enable the 3 settings as posted in the first page, then your Note will fly Installation is a piece of cake and the rom size is extremely slick at only 100mb+ ...

YOu did not try liquidsmooth? You should.. battery life is excellent...

FB is a known juice sucker... i bet katana will show up top in your betterbatterystats reading Try Freindcaster instead... very light on the battery...

I'm a super heavy user especially on browsing which means screen on time is at least 3 hours... I need to charge my phone at least twice a day.. not up to full but need to keep it plug in so that it can last me throughout the day...

My usage :

1. Browsing, heavy flash site 1-2 hours
2. Games : primarily wordsmith, chess about 1+ hr
3. Occasional torrent download especially ROMs and movies
4. HSPDA connection only whole day everyday
5. Screen brightness auto
6. Email, FB, whatapps, twitter, sms, calls, xda apps
7. Sync off, use manual
8. Livewallpaper whole day everyday (multiPicture Live wallpaper - highly recommended!)

FOr comparison between liquidsmooth and stunner :

On stunner, I encountered FC on xda apps, xscope browser, boat browser, contact and phone lags as well as swiftkey and whatapps... starting Friendcaster seems to be slower, starting FB defintely slower... auto off during charging, occasional auto reboot...

No such issue on liquidsmooth... the only complaint so far, seems that xscope and boat browser after extensive usage make the phone lags overall, have to reboot to solve this.... however, stunner works very well in tablet UI but liquidsmooth is not available, have to use 3rd party apps to do this... benchmark is slightly higher on antutu, vellamo and quadrant for liquidsmooth, but it doesn't mean a thing... but my butt-dyno feels that liquidsmooth is indeed smoother...


As for battery life, since I charge daily at about 10-11am... on stunner from 6am to 10am, my battery levels on average normally would be at around 70+% from full, on liquidsmooth it is about 80+%... both are on LP5 kernel and modem...

What is ICS stock launcher? Do you mean Apex or Nova launcher?

Maybe imilka's was installed with it...stunner and liquidsmooth is installed with Apex launcher, in fact most of the ICS ROM comes with either Nova or Apex...
