what apps are being used in the screenshot? doesnt look like cube effect or anything. some sorta live wallpaper? i love how it seems to bring "dimensions" to the screen

friggin awesome product. unfortunately i bought this in September when i was in glasgow, no idea in malaysia can get or not. it cleans the screen thoroughly and adds an oleophobic coating as well. works on screen protectors too. love it. still got juice in it. i use it to clean laptop screen as well lol

i use dolphin HD..b4 thin im using firefox but sadly in some site it cant display youtube clip..it said missing plugin..

Good Morning!!!!....

I'm using 9-20120502-NIGHTLY-Cyanofree now and I fully charged my phone to 100% and unplug it then go to sleep.

When wake up the next morning, the battery went down to 95%...5% of dropping. Then I checked the Other wakelock notice "No Data Connection" and "No or Unknown Signal" still awake for more than 9 hrs with 99.8%....the phone only deep sleep for 95.8%.

May I know why it still check for connection when I already off the Wifi/Data and phone unable to deep sleep 100% or 99.9%?

Previous 2 version it able to sleep that deep...

A good review by Pocketnow.com on Cyanogen 9 ICS 4.0.4 rom for the G Note. I am on this rom now build 3 since about 3 days ago. I have said before if one wishes to use a non TouchWiz based rom, this is the rom to follow as all other rom developers eg Stunner, Liquid,  Cyanofree, Imilka based on this Cyanaogen build to develop their roms. Now that the Cyanogen team has now official support the Note, we 'd expect better and greater improvements directly from this team of developers

However using this rom is not for the faint hearted as at times it can be quite nerve wrecking as I have discovered. Here are some tips which I have discovered and are not really sufficiently mentioned or highlighted at XDA./ Some I found out thro trial n error and have the Note soft brick few times. So heed these if you want to test this rom and you will be fine

1. ONLY flash this rom from recovery mode through Abyss Kernel 4.2 ( repeat 4.2 only)
2. Preferably wipe data n MUST wipe all caches. If you are upgrading from , say Stunner or Cyanofree or Liquid wiping data is optional BUT is compulsory if you are moving from Touchwiz based roms such as Midnote, Alba
3. The rom will assign /mnt/emmc as your internal SDcard while your ext SDcard is now /mnt/sdcard. So you need to remap some of your apps path pointing to the external sdcard such as audio, video players
4. Restoring the rom through the default recovery will endup your clockworkmod will be installed inside your internal Sdcard . So a better option , always flash first to Abyss 4.2 and from its recovery do a nandroid backup so that the backup will be store onto the external SDcard
5. Any subsequent flashing example of modem you MUST do it through Abyss Kernel BUT the biggest problem you also need to reflash the rom again immediately - if not the phone will not boot. At times you will find you will lose the menu to go back to reboot system , so manually take out battery and reboot to recovery and select reboot system
6. If for whatever reason you want to wipe your caches again, do it through Abyss kernel

The developers has highlighted several times to avoid using the default Recovery to do any flashing and wiping - so please follow strictly. Hard bricking is a high possibility if you do so

Hi! Guys,

Lately i got a prob on this: im running a stock software, and at nite after i do the task manager n kill all the active apps n put into slep.

The nex day morning i found out that it will lost around 20% on batery!! Man, this is serious problems!!!  What apps cou i instal to do the background check on which app consume so much of batery!!

Exactly same as mine . In ICS rom , however is :

3. Doplhin
4. XScope ( last because its edit bookmark features slightly leceh !)
