QUOTE(DarkNite @ Apr 28 2012, 06:40 AM) In addition Waze doesn't have the comprehensive amount of POI as Papago M8.2.2 or Garmin. Waze navigation wont be good if telco network is poor or non-existing. I feel where waze is good is traffic condition info, but that is ONLY & IF there is feedback/input from the community. Thus the traffic info may not be real time but based on past happening. Waze needs community support to be good. Cant disagree there. Waze is purely for traffic condition navigation. I works well in city, and there is where I use the most. Also during long holidays/festive period, it had helped me to deviate from the bad traffic on highways. SO far, I think the community feedback had been awesome, so no complaints there... When I drive to a new place and need to search something, I use Garmin.

I'm intrigued to try Waze after hearing so much feedbacks from you guys. I often have trouble entering KL due to the congestions. For dedicated gps, I have installed M7 Papago which I regret buying. Only after purchase I read about how good M8 version is. I couldn't find it for iPad, since its only available for iPhone version which is weird. Not that M7 is bad, but I guess there is a better one out there. I'm also using apple very own Maps, which is still in its infant stage. There's a lot of improvement to be done, but the basic functions are quite satisfactory to my standard. And so far, I haven't notice any out-of-place spots in Melaka where I often travel.
