http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_i...e-news-4137.php
so it seems the i9300 or widely rumoured to be the s3 beats the iphone4s in terms of performance, going at 92.2 frames per second using GLBenchmark2.1 with Egypt off-screen 720p now i went and check it out myself, by downloading the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...k.glbenchmark21 and selecting Egypt offscreen, details about it shows that it will force a 720p(1280x720) display no matter wut resolution your phone is, my setup is ondemand 200mhz-1.2ghz and gpu with 3 steps up 160mhz, 247mhz to 400mhz . and my score is 83 frames per second while iphone 4s's graphics is at a merely 72.7 frames per second, awesome graphics my ass This post has been edited by destEX: Apr 23 2012, 08:53 PM |

Hope that helps. yes one thing i hate about ics is the flawed media scanner. pics and musics from external sd always disappears due to media scanner aihzStable? Depends on how you see it For me, I am still with Checkrom V6 and loving it. Ain't changing to ICS for the time being. This post has been edited by destEX: Apr 23 2012, 10:36 PM |

QUOTE(barca96 @ Apr 24 2012, 05:40 PM) I've never used a bumper, case or pouch. in that case, get one of those soft silicon ones la that can get cheaply for rm20, soft ones for sure will reduce the impact wert, common sense la, if u learn physics u shud know is bcoz the increase contact time reducing impulse. Anyways take a cellophane tape, stick one corner of the sp, lift the sp up using the tape, then see the scratch is on sp or on the screen la, lift abit, then see ad, just put it back down la, no need lidt off the whole sp. if u use cellophane tape ur sp wont damageI don't know. I don't really think that they give that much of a protection. What do you guys think? I certainly don't think it's worth RM100-150. |

QUOTE(Shizuru @ Apr 25 2012, 06:54 PM) set the phoen not to show sim contacts la. or are you trying to make a display pic to show for the sim contacts in sms?QUOTE(zsnipes @ Apr 25 2012, 07:27 PM) Hi All 1) yes, of coz. if browser text, you might need to press and hold the text then the indicator will pop out.I interested to get this Samsung Galaxy S II. I am currently using Nokia E72, never use touch screen before, I would like to know is the below features/functions available if I buy the Samsung Galaxy S II? (1) While texting (sms) a paragraph, can i select (Highlight) a portion of Text I typed ? Example: Hello, how are you doing? I'm going to London this weekend. From the above example, can I select to highlight the Red Bold words only ? (2) In my Nokia E72 qwerty keyboard, I usually press & hold "CTRL" + "C" to copy the words. Can I do this in Samsung Galaxy S II ? If cannot, how to do this in a shortest way to Copy the selected Words ? (3) My existing Nokia E72, I press & hold the Space button, the LED Flash will lighted & act as a Torch Light when I'm in the dark. Can Samsung Galaxy S II do the same using its LED Flash ? Appreciate if someone can help find out. Thanks in advance. 2) hold/press>press indicator>indicator will spilt to two, then you move the indicators to highlight the text, then the copy button will come out. 3) yes #1 and #2 can't be done in iphone, #3 i dunno, so dont consider it |
