the reason why so many custom ics rom at xda is because samsung release ics source code. custom ics rom like cm9 for 9100g is on hold until the dev get the source code for it.

OMG, I flashed AndyX v12 ROM and it automatically turned on mobile data. The worst thing is I don't subscribe data package so Hotlink charges 10c/10kb. Just under 1 minute, it sucked up RM80+. Is there a way to get back those money by complain to customer service?

Obviously your problem..it's normal after you flash ROM, it will connect to data to register your email. Why maxis need to rebate back as its customer's mistakes. Once you used custom rom, it's all on us, even samsung warranty void. No offense yeah dude. Just pointing the facts.

Thanks for replies. This is second time I got this problem, total loss RM130 for nothing. I really hope Maxis disable this pricy data fee. It's better to force people to subscribe hour/daily/monthly base data package. But I know they won't disable it because this is a "legal" way to suck innocent customers money.

I think you can call them to disable the data permanently if you want..

Cause for my SIM, I've called them to disable roaming data, so I will not be able to surf while overseas, but at least I wont face a bill shock when I come back home..
