QUOTE(Matrix @ May 3 2012, 12:46 PM) Yes, nothing special...HTC already beat it as first quad core phone...so nothing to brag. Slightly better specs with first is not always the best.. LG (Optimus 2x) & Motorola (Atrix, i think) are first dual core phones.. but S2 still beat the crap out of them.. probably uglier design (the round edge looks very likely). IMO, all useless, unless it reduce on the hanging problem (a Samsung favorite) and heat issues. More important than any specs upgrade....if it hangs frequently (like most other Samsung phones)....no point. |

DXLP9 singapore modem.. seems ok.. though need few days of normal surfing pattern to get the "feel".. ok.. no more waiting for me.. panda eyes already.. so tired.. catch up in the morning.. u guys update all info here ok, so I no need go search everywhere.. |

QUOTE(leng2 @ May 4 2012, 02:17 PM) does anyone have this problem where the touch screen becomes insensitive, you'd have to touch multiple times in order push the button or click. it's as if like a spoilt physical button where you'll need to press multiples to get it to work... after restore to factory setting, it's back to normal again... but the problem soon resurface. i only have this problem with siyah kernel 3.2b2-2.. now using 3.2b6 is very good.. no more changing these few days ler.. QUOTE(SayMing93 @ May 4 2012, 03:01 PM) As stated title above, anyone can tell me what is the different between ori and ap s2? doubt you can still get new ori SME i9100 now.. maybe in sabah.. cause now selling i9100G..And ap s2 izit having the same hardware with the ori GT-19100? ( I mean ap one is using mali-400 or sgx xxxx chips?) Besides, can i upgrade ap s2 to official android ICS through samsung kies? Or i only can root it? One more, the performance is same between GT-I9100 ap and ori one? What i mean is the speed and the graphic... Thanks a lot for answering my question ... And i don't know whether i posted in the right place, please help me to move to the right place if i posted in the wrong place thanks! Have a nice day! =D AP usually i9100, but check to make sure... doesn't matter ori/ap, can update thru kies or custom.. it's up to you.. only problem is "is there ANY update on Kies yet?".. no diff in performance lah.. think you misunderstood already.. diff performance is in i9100 vs i9100G.. not between ap and ori sets.. |

QUOTE(VerdictReview @ May 4 2012, 06:15 PM) More likely basher bashing the design but not the features. 99% I won't be getting S3.. still very disappointed not come with 5250 & mali 604.. Anyway I will keep my S2 and thinking whether to buy S3 or not. another update, not sure placebo effect or not.. but feels that DXLP9 modem is much better response in surfing and streaming youtube.. take it with grain of salt.. or more.. |

QUOTE(del_Piero10 @ May 4 2012, 09:49 PM) just saw the specs from GSM arena, why S3 support micro simcard only? WTH? wah.. please lah.. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9300_galaxy_s_iii-4238.php i'm sorry but i'm a bit dissapointed with the design. for me, S2 is better.. nowadays everyone already moving towards micro-sim.. already got new proposal of new sim i.e. nano sim already.. http://www.extremetech.com/electronics/123...of-the-sim-card as tech moves, so must the tech of Subscriber Identity Module.. |

QUOTE(del_Piero10 @ May 4 2012, 11:54 PM) just wait for Check ROM ICS build. but they say it will be release in June. I tried D4 rom, Hydrog3n rom. both doing ok but u just revert back to CM9 basic ICS. and good luck with that.. first releases usually won't be perfect.. remember that checkrom went thru a lot of iterations and releases before stabilizing on v6... not to mention the development done during the revolution rom days by leomar.. |

QUOTE(Kevin_Low @ May 6 2012, 10:05 PM) never tried it, been on AOSP/AOKP for ~1+ week only.. Cause I need to test out the HDMI out which they are lacking at that time (and I think still is)..Also, was really pita that I can't mount my external as UMS cause I need to copy a lot of music files constantly.. Litening was too bland.. Omega to me, have too much bloatwares.. I'll have to stick with Wanam for a while now since I'm going holiday soon.. but this rom seems great.. |
