QUOTE(vey99 @ May 14 2012, 12:19 PM) should have some value. i doubt ppl will let it go for free. yes, i mean the passenger and driver seats cuz the design is more like a bucket seat...causing back easily get tired. everytime my mom or my gf in my car, they have to put pillow at the back to support their back. Even a short 15 minutes also tiring for them. I am okie with it. when you remove while the car is running, it wont stop beeping even after the car has stop. kind of forces you to only unbuckle once the car is stop. i would describe the seat as firm rather than hard. i feel it may be tiring for long drives/commutes esp the back row. as i know its the big brother Prius battery that is costing RM20K. the C has smaller battery so should be cheaper. however i dont think this is a general issue if not the ori prius would not sell so well until 4th gen liao. Have you guys installed any door visor ? I wanted to install door visor and the brake lock cuz now without any lock feel unsecure. |

QUOTE(cOrangeMica @ May 14 2012, 09:57 PM) Prius C change my driving habits, last time always at fast lane. Now seldom. Last time first to boost off at traffic lights.. last time... no more after I change to prius c Our can speed but at the later part. Very nice to drive at 130km/h.. Haha but certainly not recommend to speed at fast lane cuz that speed is not fast enough in highway cuz easily get flashed or tailgate QUOTE(vey99 @ May 14 2012, 10:01 PM) this was when it first launch couple of years back... loks like official prices are more interesting. not something i would worry about at the moment. Full tank average 23 to 23.4km/li dont fancy its look. my last tank was 27 litres , 552km. so its 20.4km/L sure can improve. still getting used to driving hybrid. |

QUOTE(engah @ May 17 2012, 11:04 AM) First time pumped petrol last week after using it for 3 weeks. Mileage=717km, 27.9l, about 26km/l. This includes a round trip from PJ to Melaka which gave me a poorer FC of 23km/l. mine early you one month...discounts plus half tank... cuz i know that SA uncle for long time...my vios also bought from him and my mom's boss cars also bought from him..so he "potong" Q and put my list infront Added on May 17, 2012, 11:10 am I booked mine on 4 Feb (before launching), and received on 20 April, about 11 weeks. The drawbacks are no discount and no gifts. Even the full tank petrol promised was also not given ! In life, we can not have everything.... |

Anyone have this problem before?
I encountered 2 times. When I pump petrol almost full, the petrol gun will stop, then when I pull out, the petrol overflow out... Damn! |

here;s my short trip to Bentong (Pahang) yesterday.
after the genting toll (RM5), you will need climb a bit of slope. The car runs very smooth without any revving sound if you can maintained the speed but as the slope getting stepper, the engine sound roar more loudly and that time you can see your FC from eg. 22.2km/l goes down 22km/l...to 19.9.. 19.8.. 19.6... till 19.00 (mine experience)...do not use fast lane or try to be hero and cut car infront cuz as you want to rev your car to cut the car infront, you will find it very hard and almost unreachable. as finished the slope and start going downhill after pass thru the tunnel, shift the car to B and it will drag the gear 60++ and goes all the way down, that is the first time i saw my hybrid battery was FULLY CHARGE (full bars) and the FC will increase from 19km/l back to 23 It was fun going down slope cuz the B mode can safe your car from cruising even thou you press hard on the brake. Uphill was certainly no a fun thing for Prius C as the feeling is that your car is stopped there and see a lot of cars pass you thru very easily...hahaha |

Thursday sending back to solve my rear left spring problem.
I think is the spring that causing sound (ngek ngek ngek...) come out when I turn a junction or even a bump. another thing that I will escalate is the tank area. When i pump till the petrol gun stopped, pull it out and the petrol will flow out! As for brake...i drive till 6k already and no cause of brake failure on that. |

QUOTE(Salamander @ May 22 2012, 02:20 PM) Regarding tpms I recall reading it in the US manual. This post states that for them it only shows low tire pressure and not individual tire pressure. I assume at the very least we have that. Hmm, I might even want to look at 3rd party tpms options. Maybe someone in here who already has the car can deflate one tire a little bit and see if the tire pressure warning light comes on. BTW has no one been playing around with their tire pressure for front and back wheels yet? 95 all the way. 97 to expensive for me About the "ka ka ka" sound, is it possible to record that sound? @beck_ken Yeah let us know what they say about the fuel coming out after you pump, doesn't seem like it should be doing that. What gas are you using btw? 95?97? |

confirmed no such thing called tire pressure.
answer is simple...cuz my car kena metal steel before and i ran till almost flat, my friend car from behind call me, so i stopped at nearby petrol station to refill the air.. so i don't see any signal coming out regarding tire pressure |

QUOTE(vey99 @ May 22 2012, 04:58 PM) my only comment is the fuel filler tank area is really really flimsy. i put the pump in also i sked something come off. yeah...very flimsy. and there was one time i put in the petrol filler in, when finished pump, i having hard time pulling it out QUOTE(vey99 @ May 22 2012, 05:13 PM) I am very sure it will be able to make it up both places. Me also going next week 2/6 with fully loaded too QUOTE(zorross @ May 22 2012, 05:27 PM) please let me know the condition after you finished your journey. which route u use? simpang pulai or tapah? check my post on previous page (if not mistaken) on my experience to Bentong (Pahang) pass thru Genting there.... Added on May 22, 2012, 6:13 pm QUOTE(vey99 @ May 22 2012, 06:11 PM) i am a little disappointed that we dont have (so far) you know our country like FL version. FL version add back those things above, change the front light a bit...add 3-5k, FL version - tyre pressure monitor - auto lock/unlock - some MID screens i thought i was getting a global specced unit when i ordere the car, so that for once i can enjoi what the yanks and other develop nation ppl used. QUOTE(nick.tan1 @ May 24 2012, 02:06 AM) I got mine 2 days back. Tinted it with agard 595 and change sport rims today at rawang. U alone? Try fully loaded. But I found mine doesn't have autolock. Anyone can show me how to do the trick for autolock? Cos I tried the trick in forum but still fail. Further, I notice a terrible road/tyre noise when driving. Anyway to cure this issue? Added on May 24, 2012, 2:11 amBtw, is there any accessories shop for this car? I am looking for rear diffuser, cos from behind it looks not nice at all. And also I'm looking for visor for all 4 doors. For the tyre noise I mentioned earlier, did anyone notice the same too? Can I do some sound dampering or other stuff? Anyone can recommend me the place and price also? Added on May 24, 2012, 2:14 am Bro, not that bad for uphill. Today I drive from penang to kl, pass by ipoh, practically not much car able to overtake me. And further, I tested the cruise control. I set it for 120 uphill, and the things just works its way up to 120 for uphill drive. Even its roaring, but its soft. Am going Toyota now to ask them to check my rear left spring noise every time I turn and went into bumpers Plus I also will complaint on petrol overflow out even after the petrol filler autostop And... Auto lock as what u all mentioned Shhh.. I am "MC" today ya. Hehe This post has been edited by beck_ken: May 24 2012, 08:43 AM |

Ok just back from service centre:
1. The left rear sound is not from the spring, it the nuts at the seat loosen. They tighten it and put lubricant 2. As for petrol overflow, they checked thru all the hoses and petrol tank breather and they didn't discover anything unusual. They advice me to pump petrol slowly and see what happened cuz so far I'm the first who has this problem 3. This one u all care the most. Comfirmed by salesman, service advisor and those who went for training. The original Jap spec is without autolock, so does it apply to our big bro the Prius 1.8. If somebody claimed that they have autolock, mind to shoot a video and show to us? |
