Forumer you are complaining against: suntzulee

Item being sold/bought: Samsung Note (Ceramic White)

Original thread link: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2299648

Date of transaction: 20-04-2012

Details of the complaint :

Initial, I have verified with the seller "suntzulee" whether the phone is SME set or not. Although I have waited for 1.5 hour, finally we met up & made the deal on 2012-04-20 8.30pm at Kota Damansara. After I went home, I tried to register for e-warranty as "suntzulee" said this device has not yet registered, but unfortunately, I did not success. Then, I tried the SMS function to 62002 for the warranty verification, the SMS replied "The IMEI xxxxxxxxxx need to be registered. Please request your phone retailer to activate E-warranty." So, I contacted "suntzulee" & he said would help me to verify it.

The next day, I saw a friend of mine who's using SME set of Samsung Note. Thus, I compare my friend's device with the device that I got from "suntzulee". The CSC code of my friend's device is different from my set. So, I manage to get online & search for the CSC code. The CSC code of my device is from Europe, while my friend's CSC code is from Malaysia. Next I check the back of the phone (after lift out the battery), it contains warranty stickers from S-Link Holding Sdn. Bhd.

So, I PM "suntzulee" that his device is not SME & request for refund & I tried to call his no 018-222 4218 (which shown in the selling thread). Until now, he did not reply me, although he's online & replied in other threads.

QUOTE(StratOS @ Apr 23 2012, 07:20 AM)
Since you had COD with the Seller, why not checked whether its a SME set?

The box will have a big sticker on the top right saying its SME set. Some-more the phone itself will have SME stickers stick on the battery and inside the battery compartment.

Its partly your fault for not fully checking the phone as well chin_kh.  sad.gif

Hi StratOS! I do agree that partially is my fault. I didn't check through carefully & I didn't notice on the SME sticker on the box. During that time, I was rushing as I had waited for 1.5 hours. I believed I would check through the phone carefully if my time is permitted & also putting a trust on suntzulee that he would gave me the truth information of the phone.

E-Warranty need dealer to register for you bro, each official dealer will have a dealer code for themselves to help customer register the warranty. We can't register the E-Warranty by ourselves smile.gif I'm sorry to hear about your case, for AP set, the price is way too expensive although S-Link is quite a reputable AP company. Hopefully the seller can resolve this matter with you a.s.a.p. Good Luck bro !  smile.gif

Hi ... thank you for your advice. After the case, I only know that the E-warranty only can registered by the dealer. I afraid "suntzulee" still keep his mouth shut, even though he is online (LYN) at the time I reply this.

Dear All,
I just received a PM from wKkaY regarding my case. I only have 1 statement to make:

I have no interest to resolve my case. You may move on with other LYN id but "suntzulee" will be attached with "Dispute" tag forever.

Thank you.
