Since you had COD with the Seller, why not checked whether its a SME set?

The box will have a big sticker on the top right saying its SME set. Some-more the phone itself will have SME stickers stick on the battery and inside the battery compartment.

Its partly your fault for not fully checking the phone as well chin_kh.
