q300 has wide dispersion sound pattern and solid bass punch (front port).
reading around the internet says q300 ohm requirement is actually lower than specs stating 8 ohm. Means a high current amp is required.

i believe the lx77 u have can handle it

thats the LF cone. could it be wiring terminal side problem?

up'ed my Q200c, did audyssey calibration early in the morning.
the dynamic eq result is adjusted within 2db across the frequency band

R300 i dunno, but going to aqquire a pair of Q300 with kawan this weekend

there is bass port so need to see placement space.

the last time i visit. he is not done with audyssey calibration so i cannot truly judge the sound. is different btw.

fyi the kef center is a bit strange. 3x drivers + 1 tweeter.
all of them give different crossover. so u got a bass, midbass, mid, high.

if im playing sound from q200 (solo) only, i sit 3 meter away can detect the imbalance bass of left--right ear.

i guess rp250 is conventional 2 way design rite? i will prefer it.
given ls50 are same size 5" + metal tweeter, the av receiver calibration should have no problem to match them.

becos i mix q200 with some oldish floorstand. tried pure direct they have different tone in certain hz range.
after calibrate, ok!

v300 a slim spk. u can aim for seal sub but 8" will be minimum i pick for space saving. 10" onward will be optimum
