not sure bro. When I test it, the owner only play vocal song, but with RM4k price tag... sweat.gif it should be good with any genre. The sound signature was kinda bright and forward. I think its suitable for small room. no problem.

Hey man, I believe the set you demo-ed may not have run in as the X300a produces pretty smooth highs

Guys, do  you think Q700 can be powered by marantz PM6005 with 45 watts into its 8ohm? Should be enought right?

And if Q900 should need more powerful amp right?  hmm.gif
*
Guess you need more power for the Q700 to shine

Hi there, sorry for necro-ing your post in Dec 13, i own the x300a.

Overall they are superb, perfect size and weight to produce clear, singing notes from your tunes. A bit weak on the midrange (Creative T20/T40 are absolute best for this) but justifiable. Bass/treble are depending on your preferred placement.

There are similar/equally great speakers for a cheaper price.

Totally agree smile.gif

R200c sold. Left R100 & R500. Would highly recommend the R100 especially for those who would like to go into a more mainstream hifi setup for musical performance.
