I guess I need so help here. I tried to delid my 3570k and it is consider a success but unfortunately my ram no longer working in dual channel. Could it be I have damaged the imc ? And just wondering how do u all apply TIM on the die? Just a small pea size or?
*
pls check the cpu pin on the mobo as well, see got any pin bent or abnormal? I also faced it on my maximus vi hero when I re-install the cpu, cannot get dual channel nor chA1/chA2 working (Qcode 55)...and found out the got 1 pin abit bent, so I fixed it back and finally can boot up as normal.

Anyone still playing with IB? I got an ES i5 3570k, 1.23v @ 4.5Ghz, but when I run prime95 large fft test, run for 7-8 hours, my core 1 max temp is 67c and core 4 max at 102c, the time period is about the same, why the temperature difference is so huge? Is it because of sensor problem?

u need to delid your proc and replaced with better thermal compound, eg. CLU brows.gif
