QUOTE(huzzLEE_82 @ Jul 27 2012, 08:14 AM) tenkiu owikh...but mine is nothing compared with urs 92c Added on July 27, 2012, 8:23 am i never use i5-2500k before..... mine 4.5GHz on H70 max is 92c with LinX / 80+c with prime 95 which is for my personel preferences is acceptable since TJmax for Ivybridge is 105c (100c for SandyBridge) *i replaced my stock 120mm Corsair H70 fans with Artic Cooling 120mm PWM fans so you are using Corsair H70 ? heard that the water cooler is quite noisy even on idle. |

I have another question on 3570k vs 3770k
When comes to video encoding or running software which required HT , how much does 3570k need to be OC to achieve or par with 3770k stock speed ? When I meant , 3570k OC -> ? Ghz = 3770k Stock Thanks |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Oct 9 2012, 11:45 PM) 4.5GHz at what load vCore? Thanks , seems like 4.5Ghz is needed for OC to get the same performance on 3770k. The min temps shown in RealTemp are idle temps? If yes then something wrong supposedly lying at 30-50C. Added on October 10, 2012, 12:15 am For vid encoding you will need to OC the 3570K to 4.5-4.7GHz to match a stock clocked 3770K Source Any finally , when comes to cooler , CM Hyper TX3 Evo vs Hyper 212 EVO , Which one able to OC it to 4.5Ghz for 3570k stable , about 5 hours for video encoding without BSOD due to high temp ? I was thinking CM Hyper TX3 Evo since it's cheap RM 80. Mbo Asu p8z77-vlx Thanks |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Oct 12 2012, 12:26 AM) 3570K @ 4.5GHz is still possible on air. QUOTE(ketapang @ Oct 13 2012, 03:50 AM) Yes you don't need to remove the base of the heatsink, the retention plate should be sandwiched with it. Somehow from the link you provided, he's telling the truth. Even after you assemble the hsf, you can still move it in twisting fashion, exactly like what he said. But it shouldn't be a problem. It's solid enough to give the right pressure to mount it, and the cooling should working fine. The only thing i was scared of is no rubber under the retention plate, so the retention plate has direct contact with your mobo. So don't screw it too tight, just give the right pressure. I am not extreme overclocker , how about hyper TX3 evo ? the one only have clips like normal intel fan.Shouldn't be moving right ? What it worry , after like few years using, the whole big 212 12cm fan drop or fall down . Able to move or twist = not tight enough but if tight enough = retention plate has direct contact with the mobo Do you think TX3 evo able to OC to 4.5Ghz ? Just going to convert video for afew hours maybe 5 hours , after that just use it as normal stock or 4.0Ghz for gaming. Thanks |

QUOTE(lat_lonelyboyz @ Oct 13 2012, 11:22 PM) Hyper 212 Evo user here. Can reach 80 degree max if 3570k @ 4.5GHz with poor air flow case and high ambient environment Last question before buying , does a budget motherboard able to OC to 4.5Ghz ? such as asus p8z77 vlx ?I dont think his TX3 able to handle 4.5GHz even nice air flow and low ambient temp Edited. IINM..gaming will use 100% max load on GPU instead of CPU. So, converting a video about 5 hours longs, u will need better cooler to stable its temp if running @ 4.5GHz http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Soc...1155/P8Z77V_LX/ |
